Cooler Master Centurion 590 RC-590-KKN1-GP Black SECC / ABS ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Keeps everything very cool. Lots of room for fans. Solid construction and simple component removal.

Cons: None

Overall Review: My friend tripped over an audio cable and broke the front audio jack. I contacted Cooler Master and they sent me a whole new assembly (2xUSB, 1394, mic, headphone) FREE OF CHARGE!! Didn't even have to pay for shipping. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Rattles

Polk Audio PSW Series PSW10 Black Subwoofer
Polk Audio PSW Series PSW10 Black Subwoofer

Pros: Decent for a low powered system.

Cons: Extremely annoying rattle when turned up. I keep the sub at 50% and it still rattles when I turn the volume up on the receiver.

Overall Review: This seems to be a recurring issue with this sub. I've heard many people have the same problem, but no fix.

Decent Monitor

Samsung BX2450 24" LED BackLight LCD monitor Slim Design 250 cd/m2 1000:1
Samsung BX2450 24" LED BackLight LCD monitor Slim Design 250 cd/m2 1000:1

Pros: Good color, bright whites, dark blacks. Great for playing games.

Cons: Chrome base, menu buttons, the 2ms response time does not support video playback.

Overall Review: Okay, so I've had this problem for a few months, and finally got annoyed enough to do some research. I can play games no problem with this monitor, but when I watch video playback(doesn't matter if it's in 1080 or 480), there's some weird things happening(parts turning white) when there's lots of movement in the video. I thought it was my gpu at first(GTX 260). I upgraded to the GTX 570, and the problem persists. I discovered that when I change the response time (in the monitor menu settings) from "fastest" to "normal", the problem goes away. Again, this only happens during video playback, not during games. Hopefully this helps other people out there with the same issue.

Great little card

ASUS GeForce 210 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Ready Video Card EN210 SILENT/DI/1GD3/V2(LP)

Pros: Fanless is awesome. Only takes up one slot. Stays between 28-35c in my Coolermaster 590. I didn't try any games, but I played a Blu-ray and it looked great.

Cons: Not really a con, but the heatsink is a bit wild looking. Some might not like the look of it in their case.

Overall Review: I bought this as a second gpu. I have a GTX 570, but it runs very warm with dual monitors(57c at idle). My 570 and 210 now idle at 29c and 28c, respectively. Some people stay away from fanless designs, but I have above average cooling in my case. 4x120mm, 2x80mm case fans. I knew heat wasn't going to be a problem with this card. Another thought, when I play video in 1080 on my monitor connected to the 210, my 570 usage goes from 0 to 20 percent, while the 210 hovers at around 18 percent usage. When I switch the video to the monitor connected to the 570, the 210 usage goes back to zero and the 570 goes down to 12 percent. I am wondering how all this is managed but that doesn't seem like the best way to distribute the processing. Overall Review: Make sure your MBP can support up to 8GB. I have a 2.5 GHz Intel MBP and only support a maximum of 4GB of RAM.
