Pros: I'm going to reuse the window mount, that's pretty solid.

Cons: This camera is garbage. It lists lots of features but is exceptionally light on execution. Let's start with the power situation - it will never stay charged. I have it plugged in all the time and it will generally turn off about an hour after I have it on. My car charger is a 2.1 amp that charges my ipad air fine, does this require that much more? Next is retention. I got this thing so I could have it running whenever I'm driving. I set it to loop every 10 minutes, I'm on 720p resolution and have a 32gb microsd card in there. Twice the thing has filled up and I had to re-format. The g sensor is garbage. No matter what sensitivity, I would stop and it would turn of the recording; mixed feelings what if I'm hit or witness something when stopped? Regardless it would never start up again when I started driving again. I have yet to actually get a recording off the thing. My mac will not recognize the camera when I plug it in, I have to take out the microsd and plug it in elsewhere. Windows sees it fine. The thing is, when I want to get a recording there are about 20 directories and they are ALL EMPTY! I have NO IDEA what it's doing when it's recording. Let say it was recording fine, there is no way to save a recording, just turn off the device. I haven't actually tested this because I can't get a video from the microsd! It took nearly 45 days to ship from China. I dunno if I can even get a refund, nor what it would cost me to process one. There is no place to contact for support, the box and instructions are completely non-descript. I can't even contact a company and ask if I might have a bum unit. I really wanted a simple dashcam that I could set and forget. Well, I'm forgetting about this one because it is simply junk.
