Pros: Drive functions just fine, Reads all discs I've put in it, great speed.

Overall Review: People keep complaining about included software not allowing for BD playback, and I don't get why. The software included is for installation and some burning software. I have yet to see a completely free and legitimate BD playback software. Even your basic Media Player apps don't allow for that. You have to buy aftermarket software that installs the Blu-ray codec for that specific player otherwise they won't play your movies. It's probably mainly because of the region lock that most Bluray discs have.

Pros: It was fast as can be.... AT FIRST

Cons: Ok well while this drive was fast and worked fine for a little while, it just stopped working entirely after already giving me some read issues. At first I just reformatted it and that did the trick for a couple of days. NOW however my computer will not read the drive at all. I can't get any of my data off of it, thankfully it was nothing too important for me to lose, just really annoying. II know that all drive eventually fail, but to 100% fail in less than 2 years and with HARDLY ANY use at all. It mostly sat in a drawer because I didn't need to transfer that much to it until just recently.

Overall Review: I don't suggest this drive at all. I liked it at first but with little to no real warning signs that it was failing, and it seems that random total failure is common with this drive (I wish I had known that before).
