A cheep alternative
Pros: Cheep, and available (unlike the microsoft version).
Cons: First one shipped to me turned out to be a dud.
Overall Review: First receiver was defective, unable to sink with any of my xbox controllers. RMA'd it and the company quickly sent a replacement, which worked immediately. I would have taken off a couple eggs for the annoyance it put me though but the company's quick and no cost replacement makes up for it.
Decent harddive
Pros: Worked fine Cheep
Cons: Failed after 20 months.
Overall Review: Recently failed on me, replaced with a newer Seagate.
Great upgrade for a budget price
Pros: Great performance for the price. If you cant afford the high price of a I7, this will cover you pretty well. Simple to install.
Cons: Out performed by most if not all the I7 processors out there, if you have money to burn, get one of those instead. Can get pretty hot, invest in a after market heatsink and not the stock one they give you.
Great stuff
Pros: Need a good and cheep thermal paste to keep your cpu from cooking? This is it. Enough in the tube to use 5-6 times, more if you dont have sausage fingers and know what you're doing.
Cons: Easy to lose. Like all thermal paste, this stuff will stick to your fingers and can be a pain to wash out of clothing, wear disposable gloves!
Pros: Cheep, good speed.
Cons: Failed after 13 months of average use. See Other thoughts
Overall Review: I bought one set of this ram when I first built my current rig, worked fine. About 4 months ago I bought another set to max out my memory capacity. Today my computer BSODed and I ran it though a battery of hardware tests, everything passed except the ram, every single stick failed multiple and different tests. I like this brand but this situation has seriously damaged thier standing in my book.
