Awesome.
Pros: My first AOI cooling setup, works flawlessly. I have a G3258 at 4.5, never gets above 55 C.
Cons: Women don't seem interested when I mention it.
Overall Review: If you were doing some really serious overclocking with an i5 or i7, you would probably want a larger cooler, like the H100.
Great... for a while.
Pros: Fast. Easy.
Cons: Dead.
Overall Review: Died after a few months. Five Samsung drives, all with no issues and combined years of service. Tried this because it was on sale, they are owned by WD and I have good luck with their mechanical drives, dead in less than 3 months. Spend the extra cash, get the good stuff (Samsung, Intel)
Performace: 5 eggs!
Pros: 3dMark is around 14k, GTAV and other titles look amazing with things cranked up, stays cool.
Cons: No backplate? I kind of expected it given they had no pictures of the back of the card anywhere... but COME ON!!!!! A $400 card with no backplate, AND no plate offered by Gigabyte as an "accessory"? My 960 has a backplate, my 970 has a backplate...
Overall Review: Gigabyte, please offer a backplate for this card!
Perfect!
Pros: Good heatsink for workstation builds, fits nicely in the ITX I put together for my family.
Cons: Could probably do mild overclocking with this, cools my G3258 at 4.0ghz without issue.
Solid!
Pros: Easy to build, booted right up, bios is easy to use.
Cons: No USB 3.0 front panel header, I knew that going in, so no eggs deducted.
Awesome!
Pros: Moves air, looks super awesome compared to standard led fans.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Seriously, these look great.
Disorganized Inventory
I ordered an ATX form factor PSU and was sent a heatsink for some sort of server board instead. I then had to pay shipping costs to return the item. Very disappointing, I don't recommend doing business with this vendor no matter how good the deal is, spend a few extra bucks and order from another vendor.
