This review is from: Sangean Digital AM/FM Walnut Cabinet Table-Top Radio WR-2
Pros: Nice sound
Cons: Dual alarm is a stretch
Display lacks contrast
Other Thoughts: This radio sounds very nice. And the Radio alarm comes on at low volume and ramps up which I really like.
The dual alarm feature was not what I expected though. I have never seen a radio where you can only set one radio and one buzzer alarm. So if I want to sleep in, my wife wakes up to the radio and I get a beeper. It is an interesting beeper though.
Also, the display is not really readable at lower brightness settings. And when you can read it, it is VERY bright. .
The presets are handy though we really only use one station since it is our wakeup clock.
I guess you could say I like it but that it has just a few too many little things wrong to say I love it.
This review is from: Haier HPY12XCN 12,000 Cooling Capacity (BTU) Portable Air Conditioner
Pros: Works fine and cools well
Cons: It does get a bit noisy on high
Other Thoughts: It was a little banged up in shipping. My daughter waited 2 months to tell me that so I didn't have much recourse to complain. "adjusting" the frame a bit for the shipping seems to have helped but make sure you check the unit right away running on high to confirm it is not too loud for you.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Good feature set. Decent OC ability. Intel HD control
Cons: No Radeon Video cards seem to work under windows 7
Other Thoughts: I have been running back and forth with MSI on this for two months. I waited a few months to add a video card. At first I thought it was the VC that caused the screen to go blank after logging in to windows. But I found another machine to test it on and it worked there. Then I found other cards di not work. They suggested I turn off UEFI but there is no option to do that.
Then they 'forgot' that while I started the support request talking about the card, I had told them that the motherboard was this one( I mentioned it explicitly in the previous reply) and was to blame. They just told me to get in touch with the MB manufacturer. Well, I will not TOUCH an other MSI product again. QC is never perfect but this support is useless.
