Makes Me Coffee, Is My Friend
Pros: Bought this in a surge of anger after my $40 coffee maker died of cheapness. (As I actually fix commercial coffee equipment for a living, my attempt to fix the cheap piece of garbage only made me angrier. You do get what you pay for. Do not pay for West Bend.) I had used a fancier Cuisinart before, and liked it, so got this one. It makes coffee, it does it well, and is well-designed to boot. (Example: The opening on the tank is larger than the pour spout on the carafe. Doesn't sound like much, but if you're trying to fill the coffee maker with water before you've had your coffee... It's the little things.) I have been using this coffee maker for months, all of the functions still work, and the auto brew feature is wonderful.
Cons: The only thing on here that gave me pause was the on/off button/selector knob. It just feels a little cheap. Still, it does continue to work, months down the road - so I should probably stop giving it the stink eye every time I press the wobbly little button.
Overall Review: Newegg gave a good deal, and provided it's usual excellent service. They are my first stop when buying my PC hardware, and now they'll be where I look for my small appliances as well.
Pros: Dropped my temps from 77c to 27c under load. Allowed me to open up locked core on my CPU, which I couldn't do with my stock heat sink. Newegg service as good as always.
Cons: Printed Instructions were worse than useless. Good instructions found online with basic search.
Overall Review: Using G Skill Sniper RAM. Anything taller (due to heat fins, or pretty lights, or whatever) is just not gonna fit. Check your mother board layout and make sure your RAM will fit!
Comments: Best board I've ever had, and I've spent more.
Comments: Good, solid board - everything I've come to expect from A-Bit, plus a little bit more. I'll have to get the "Third Eye" hooked up soon, but for now, I'm just enjoying the heck out of this board and planning my next upgrade!
Comments: Well, there are some problems with design, and overall quality, but these are fairly minor. Overall, it's a good case, and has some nice touches for the money.
