Most Favorable Review

1yr working flawlessly

Intel RMT3CB080 PCI-Express 2.0 x8 SATA III (6.0Gb/s) Integrated RAID Module
Intel RMT3CB080 PCI-Express 2.0 x8 SATA III (6.0Gb/s) Integrated RAID Module

Pros: Excellent performing card for the money, fast, easy to install and altogether perfect for my application. Running 5 2TB WD red drives in a raid 5 config.

Cons: The SAS connectors stick out the top of the card, while this is fine for a tower case config, installing it in a 2U rackmount is impossible, it was extremely difficult to even get it in a 4U rackmount enclosure.

Overall Review: I think if they would've set this card up with the SAS connectors at the back end of the card instead of the top of the card, it would be an even better value, but for the price, I'm not complaining. Quick note to the previous poster. This card fits just fine in a PCI Express slot best to read the description and actually understand your system before you purchase something for it.

Most Critical Review

Absolutely Junk

Zotac ZBOX-AD06-PLUS-U AMD M3L Mini / Booksize Barebone System
Zotac ZBOX-AD06-PLUS-U AMD M3L Mini / Booksize Barebone System

Pros: Small, good graphics chipset for the price. Wifi Built in.

Cons: Seriously junk. I would give it zero eggs if that were an option. I bought 3 of these last year, I put Adata 64GB SSD's in them and 4GB of G-Skill ram, . Windows 7 pro, 32bit etc. One of these units failed after a week, another after 2 months and the final one just gave up the ghost. I'll NEVER EVER Buy another Zotac product. The RMA process takes over a MONTH! if you can jump through their convoluted, disorganized hoops. AVOID

Overall Review: If ZOTAC wants to run with the big dogs, they would be wise to clean up their support process. If I were to guess, it's being run out of someones mothers garage.

Best Home WiFi router I've ever owned

ASUS RT-AC66R Dual-Band Wireless-AC1750 Gigabit Router –Asus Certified.
ASUS RT-AC66R Dual-Band Wireless-AC1750 Gigabit Router –Asus Certified.

Pros: This thing is fast, reliable, and affordable. Setup was easy, and in the 4.5 months I've owned it, I haven't had to power cycle it once. Excellent range too. Covers my whole house and front and back yard, no problem, no dead spots.

Cons: A little on the bulky side.

Overall Review: I kind of wish this thing had a slightly more traditional form factor. But it's not bad. Would be nice if it supported VPN, but that's not a critical feature for me.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Zotac ZBOX-AD06-U AMD M3L Mini / Booksize Barebone System
Zotac ZBOX-AD06-U AMD M3L Mini / Booksize Barebone System

Pros: Small, affordable, HDMI, WiFi, Wall Mount included

Cons: My company bought 3 of these in October. Thus far, 2 of the three units have failed, completely. Just died, less than a month apart. Further, the Zotac RMA process is SO difficult, that I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER buy another Zotac product. This device and frankly in my opinion, Zotac products in general, should be avoided. Their customer service support people are disorganized and can't seem to communicate with each other so you end up having to provide the same information over and over. And their return process takes forever, it's been a MONTH since I started the RMA process on the first unit and I still haven't received the replacement.

Overall Review: These products are really cool, but not worth the headache. If you're luck enough to get a good, reliable unit, then all power to you. Just pray you never have to deal with their return/warranty system.

Excellent UPS for the Money

Tripp Lite series SmartPro 3000VA 3000W 120V Line-Interactive Sine Wave UPS - 7 Outlets, Network Card Option, LCD, USB, DB9, 2U Rack/Tower (SMART3000RM2U)
Tripp Lite series SmartPro 3000VA 3000W 120V Line-Interactive Sine Wave UPS - 7 Outlets, Network Card Option, LCD, USB, DB9, 2U Rack/Tower (SMART3000RM2U)

Pros: Powerful with 9 outlets, It's a beast, Feels like I could run my whole server room on this thing.

Cons: Must install in 4 post rack or support the rear of the unit separately, 30A plug.

Overall Review: This is a great UPS, but you'll need a dedicated 30 amp outlet for it. Not that that's a bad thing, I just didn't realize at the time and ended up spending almost as much on the electrician as I did on the UPS. NEMA L5-30A.

NOT FOR CAMERAS

C2G 39000 USB Active Extension Cable - USB 2.0 A Male to A Female Cable, White (39.4 Feet, 12 Meters)
C2G 39000 USB Active Extension Cable - USB 2.0 A Male to A Female Cable, White (39.4 Feet, 12 Meters)

Pros: Extends usb up to 36ft. Active, and pretty.

Cons: This thing doesn't work for high data speed. I tried it with a Logitech camera and it will see the camera, but the video will not pass through.

Overall Review: Kind of a waste of money, I bought it because I didn't have access to A/C power between the PC and the Camera location. If I had, I'd have put in a powered USB hub. Oh, well.
