quiet, cheap
Pros: quiet, cheap, good amount of airflow
Cons: seems a little louder than 21db
Overall Review: The AC AF8 I ordered at the same time is considerably quieter and moves a little more air and only costs a little more. This fan is still pretty quiet. It seems the shroud present in any other fan adds a considerable amount of noise.
too loud for me
Pros: Big, noisy fan
Cons: Big, noisy fan, seems to have very limited RPM range. Not "silent" by any means.
Overall Review: I suppose it's my fault for not reading the reviews. This thing is louder than my cpu fan, 2 120mm PWM fans, and r9 270 dual fan video card put together (at idle). Which it really shouldn't be. At idle the fan could be off in a case with good flow. Maybe mine is just messed up.
so far so good
Pros: Finally, a card that works. The last 3 or so ATI cards I have had went bad in some way. This is the first card in what must be a year now, that doesn't give me artifacts or BSOD randomly. It's also pretty quiet, enough so that I compelled to find an aftermarket cooling solution. It has an enormous 5 heatpipe cooler with 2 fans which has to comprise a fair amount of the value.
Cons: Quiet, but could be quieter. This is probably the largest card I've ever had, due in no small part to the cooling. I'm sure the fans could be completely off and it would still maintain a temp of 80 or less at idle. Sadly, the fans will not go below 20%, which is about 1350RPM, which makes them audible. 32 degrees at idle in a 26 degree room, Also takes 2 6 pin power plugs.
Overall Review: I will have to ask them about a BIOS update.
quiet, as advertised, nice looking
Pros: quiet, as advertised, nice looking, high volume for speed, PWM
Cons: Maybe not effective if there is high pressure, but that is a guess.
strong but slow
Pros: good antenna
Cons: no driver disc was in the box. I can't get 5ghz to work. I can only get 72mbps even though the router is capable of 300
Overall Review: drivers seem to be problematic. signal quality is good, but can't get the throughput it should be capable of.
Rereview verdict: not so great
Pros: Good heatpipe cooler, silent at idle Top notch MSI Afterburner software
Cons: Experiencing similar crash issues as other users. Drivers.
Overall Review: I got this well before the official drivers were out and it was nothing but problems with the beta ATI drivers. Another user reported that the OEM drivers were stable, which I tried and worked for me. WHQL driver release is also fine. I will never buy a card that only has beta drivers again. Or so I thought. This card was giving me weird visual artifacts from the beginning, as well as crashes others are reporting. The artifacts and instability seem to be getting increasingly worse. I suspect bad RAM. The fan is quiet but produces a dull roar during intensive use, but that is with it not exceeding 70 C, which is probably a low ceiling for GPUs.
