Massive chunks of useless metal

Thermaltake ArmorPlus(Armor+) VH6000BWS Black Aluminum / Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Thermaltake ArmorPlus(Armor+) VH6000BWS Black Aluminum / Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: GREAT TOWER for holding parts. Except for all the issues.

Cons: All the fans broke within a month. There is no good way to pick this thing up. Most of the best gripping points have stickers warning you to not use as a handle since it will tear the foundation of this thing apart. The usb ports are unstable and the plastic breaks out and gets stuck in your usb cords. MASSIVE CHUNKS OF USELESS METAL. I mean really? I thought they would lock or something but no those 1000lbs chunks of uranium attached to the front are just useless flaps that serve no purpose other then extra sticker space. Not to mention this tower will cause you BODILY HARM. That's right if you put this thing on the floor it will ATTACK YOU. The flaps will sway open and SLAM a metal corner right into your knee each time you get out of your chair. Other then those flaws it's fine. Nice spacing for parts. Never had an issue fitting something in it and the quick release thing is neat.

ASUS Crosshair V Formula AM3+ AMD 990FX USB 3.0 ATX AMD Gaming Motherboard with 3-Way SLI/CrossFireX Support and UEFI BIOS
ASUS Crosshair V Formula AM3+ AMD 990FX USB 3.0 ATX AMD Gaming Motherboard with 3-Way SLI/CrossFireX Support and UEFI BIOS

Pros: Runs really well all the drivers installed really well after getting windows loaded. All I had to do is use the cd that came with the mobo and search for the drivers for the faulty slots in the d drive. A mother board at this price shouldnt have to do this but oh well it is a new platform.

Cons: Ram is EASILY installed wrong. I had to take the computer to a local shop to get everything checked as I had the dreaded dram red led of doom that most of the 1 egg reviewers posted about. It wouldnt boot to bios because the ram wasnt in correctly.

Overall Review: Great board but not for a novice to build. By novice I mean you build less then 3 pc's a year. Some mobo's are easier then others take that into acount when making your purchase. IMO it was worth it.
