Pros: I think this is a fine case every thing fit nice. Yes it is suppose to be screwless but I personally always add screws to the opposite side for rigidity.
Cons: 2 sata connectors are piggy backed on the same cable making it hard to stretch to the hard drive mounting location, I found that the middle connector was easy to move by just popping the back off and resetting the connector where I wanted it. Dont let this scare you it is easy to do. Or you can avoid it by mounting the hard drive in a floppy bay.
Easy save of my saved files
Pros: I bought this Dell in hopes I could install my hard drive from my old 32 bit computer which crashed. This Dell has a large enough case and enough ports to add an additional HDD. After two attempts the Dell recognized my old HDD. Lesson learned? Do better backing up the files I want to save. If you procrastinated, this was an easy and inexpensive fix.
Cons: The DVD Burner Fails to burn a usable dvd. After I used one from my old computer I was back in business. I don't love windows 10 it is a bit clunky. Its not what you know but how fast you can learn a new operating system. I have less important things to worry about, than learning where windows moved everything. ugh
Overall Review: This is the quietest computer I have owned. When I start it I always look again thinking it did not start.
Great board
Pros: This thing has above average reviews and I have to agree with that because this is a pretty nice board and reasonably priced. It will run on 4 or 8 pin power for the CPU and 20 or 24 pin power supply. No adapter necessary. The board has plenty of mounting holes and is decently laid out
Cons: The board does not come with any IDE connections. I should have noticed this because I was replacing an old board. Needless to say I had to order a new hard drive and DVD burner with SATA connections
Overall Review: I guess it does not hurt to upgrade from the old style. If you get a DOA I would give it a second chance this board is nice.
500 Gig Hard drive
Pros: Works well and with 500 GB it should be large enough for my needs
Cons: It did not come with any paper work or any description on the drive itself in regards to the Jumper terminals. When it would not immediately work I thought it was either dead or may need a jumper or something as it came with none. It turned out the mother board had a setting for IDE or SATA which is wierd because the mother board only had sata connections.
Overall Review: Readers keep in mind that I list my knowledge as average Everything I know is self taught on my own
Super Qiet
Pros: The thing is super quiet and burns disc's faster than any previous burner I have had
Cons: None
Overall Review: Uses the new sata cables which is cool. I purchased this because the mother board I wanted did not have IDE plug in's
Works good
Pros: Works fine and is no to long
Cons: None
Overall Review: Wish I new I had one in a box of cables
