K70 Mech Brown
Pros: Great feel, I use the wrist attachment. Write research papers and game. Can pop off keys to clean anything that falls inbetween as well.
Cons: None I am aware of?
Overall Review: I have spent over $110 on keyboards which would be considered ergonomic from microsoft and from Razer. Was dissatisfied every time. I expressed restraint buying a mechanical keyboard for so long because I just didn't want to pay the money but I have no regrets. The asia girl who is on the newegg youtube channel did a comprehensive review on these keyboards and that was helpful
Cheaply Constructed
Pros: The board isn't DOA, quality utilities and bios. Delivered quickly.
Cons: The PCI express interface x 16 pulled right out of the motherboard. It's impossible to get back in. I've never seen that before and i have built my last 3 computers. I have only had it one day and it's done this. I'm not going to RMA because I don't feel like dealing with the hassle, just this card promotes SLI, Xfire and it does have 3 pci express slots. However right now two work, but the one remaining sits right on top of the power supply and is functionally useless because of it's positioning on the board. So, one ripped out... which i've never seen before... and the other is in a slot I cannot access. I really hope my one PCI express x 16 slot I have left remains working.
Overall Review: Can't recommend it.
High end card.
Pros: Raster ability. On 4k monitor and can keep up with frame gen. Older game or indie games obviously not necessary. No concern for mods due to 24gb vram. Purchased Nov 2023 and utilized trade in program with no issues. Surprised price hasn't dropped more, however. No coil whine. Pro also customer service
Cons: Card failed after 10 months abruptly. No artificating, no high temps on hotspot or memory(i utilize fan curves of 50-75% in high flow case so no temps over 82C but usually in the 60's) and thus I had to remove an Egg. However the customer service was very good with sapphire and they gave me a brand new pulse. I was concerned if my old one would be fixed or get a refurb, but not a spec of dust on the thing and no signs of use. Still have a warranty for a year and I hope nothing happens so that lack of certainty I have to subtract.
Overall Review: Would recomend if on sale. By this point 12/2024 it should be ~$800 USD at the most. But with upcoming tariffs it will probably increase or RDNA 4 may get close to the speeds. Otherwise at the time I purchased it the Nvidia 4080 was $300 USD more for the same raster speed, faster ray tracing. I am not really impressed with RT, in a few generations maybe(we've been saying this), but not worth the perf hit even on nvidia in my opinion and shiny puddles and games like alan wake are just nvidia showcases. It's hairworks 2.0. My concern is having enough VRAM along with knowing sapphire is a reliable company. I have purchased many sapphire cards (nitro 64, 570 pulse, 6800 nitro, 6600 pulse) and this was the first card I have failed. I still haven't had to repaste the 570. But despite it failing, as mentioned before, they did not push back on my claim and nothing is perfect. I trust sapphire's customer service and when one purchases such a big ticket item (about $1k usd) the customer shouldn't worry if their warranty is valid. So as mentioned before, had to remove an egg due to failure.
Great 1440p card or 4k
Pros: Great performance( par for 2070/1080) and I enjoy tweaking the settings to get more performance. The card just feels and looks like high quality, good experience with sapphire. Will last a few years in the rig. No coil whine. Can get over 1700 mhz and 1050 on hbm with temps around 68 ° C. Also can set to cooler profile with temps around 46 drawing 175w. It's whatever you want to set it as. Radeon vii is only 25% faster than this card, but it's $300 more.
Cons: Mining craze made this inaccessible for a long time. Would have bought last year or longer ago, but price was unreasonable then so it's not brand new tech... But the drivers continue to improve so mixed feels.. Not all negative just trying to be fair. Otherwise I hate the bracket. Tried it in two different cases, I feel it eventually vibrates and hits the fan. I have a MSI steel pci slot, I don't need the bracket ...the card doesn't sag.
Overall Review: If cheaper than 2070 it makes sense. It's close to navi release, but if you like building and tweaking this is a fun card to work with. Be wary it's very large and fits fine in the fractal design meshify c. The best price to performance for vega is probably flashing a 56 to a 64, that ain't for be. I'll tweak it, but don't want to flash. ..but this is an impressive card and I would recommend getting it
