Superb

Pros: Very good optical system, easy install, excellent scans for all media (scanning slides will need more tweaking). Out of the box, love the included Epson scanning software; Silverlight SE -- not so much (maybe, because it's "SE"). Very good value for the money.
Cons: Had to purchase VueScan to work with slides, but that's really not a con -- if you are planning to scan a lot of slides, get yourself a dedicated slide scanner.
Dream Machine

Pros: Excellent build, light body, IPS+Nvidia combo is ahhhmazing, backlit keyboard... Solid machine!
Cons: If you are bugged by the 5400rpm HD, just add an SSD to boot from, and you'll have a ton of built-in storage with the 1TB hard drive. Kind of weird, but there's no sticker with Windows license number anywhere, so before messing with the OS make sure you dig it up from computer properties and have it saved somewhere. No accompanying recovery disc - kind of expected that, but just beware - some people are taken aback by that. Not a touchscreen display - hey, but you know that before buying it. :).
Overall Review: Overall, the cons would not stop me from recommending this machine - all those are minor compared to the awesomeness you get to carry around without breaking your back.
Very handy

Pros: I tested this app before buying, doubting that the first find is the best. After about 3 months of going through a whole bunch of project time tracking and billing software for Mac, I came back to this one. It has a very straightforward interface, works smoothly, and is light enough (as opposed to a full accounting suite such as Quicken). You can create project estimates, time slips, invoices -- the bare minimum you'd need to do as a freelancer. Mileage tracking per project is also handy. The program allows to set recurring invoices with reminders, run a considerable number of reports, etc. The best way to evaluate it, of course, is to download the trial version from the company Website. In my subjective opinion, it's a 5-star software with a modest tag. Love it!
Cons: None for me.
Sweet deal!

Pros: Soft keys, illuminated, low profile, looks elegant. Smooth install. Got it with a $20 rebate -- awesome!
Cons: If you are a huge ergonomics fan, you might not like it it sits a bit too low.
Solid

Pros: Works out of the box, easy install (mine is on Win XP Pro). Very stable, no issues whatsoever.
Cons: None
Fantastic little "rodent" :-)

Pros: Easy install, great performance, great looks! Ergonomical, but if you have large hands I bet you are not going to be as happy as I am. Works well with both a PC and a MacBook Pro, the receiver is tiny, which is very nice when you are packing things in a laptop bag. The mouse itself is the right size when you are on the go. Laser vs. optical is a total and ultimate winner, I will never look back! Battery is still going -- after more than 3 months of use. The good feature of the mouse is that it goes to "sleep" when unused, but "wakes up" pretty fast when you start moving it. Love it!
Cons: None.
