Great card, still running solid
Pros: This card is great for my build. I have it nearly 2 years now, and no issues. Even now, it still runs any game I want on max graphics settings, and I don't drop below 60 fps, ever. It runs quiet, stays cool, and was easy to overclock further with the MSI Afterburner software.
Cons: The only con I have is the HDMI-to-Mini HDMI adapter. As others have mentioned, it doesn't sit tight in the mini HDMI port on the card. This has caused video to cut out a few times on me, while in the middle of playing a game. It is also too heavy, and I noticed that the connector bent after a while due to the weight. I remedied this situation by buying an actual HDMI-to-Mini HDMI cable separate from this, and now it works just fine. The new cable sits tight, and works great.
Overall Review: Overall this is a good, solid card. I've had it in my build for nearly 2 years now, and it still runs like brand new. When the time comes that I do decide to upgrade my card in the future, I will definitely stick with the MSI Twin Frozr setup. You can't beat it for the cooling capabilities. I may try a higher performance card for my next one. They've recently rolled out the 700 series cards, and I've contemplating a 770 or 780. Either way, I'll be sticking with the MSI card.
Seems ok, missing some major parts
Pros: Clean, black face. Looks nice sticking out of the front of my Antec 300 Illusion case. It does what it's meant to do.
Cons: When I received the package in the mail, the only thing in the package was the drive, itself, bubble wrapped for protection. No mounting screws included, nor a wire to connect it. I mean, it looks nice just sitting there, but that's all it's doing is sitting there, not mounted or anything.
Overall Review: Starting to 2nd guess my decision to purchase this and contemplating returning it for a better quality optical drive, perhaps one with blu-ray capabilities also. I guess it goes to show you, you get what you pay for.
Works as advertised
Pros: Works great. Connections fit tight in both my monitor and the output port on my video card. Cable length is plenty for my setup. Not much more to say.
Cons: None
Overall Review: There's not too much to say here. The cable either works, or it doesn't. In my case, it works great. No other comments needed.
Works exactly as intended
Pros: Easy to install, great speed, reliable brand. The packaging they came in was solid, so I wasn't at all worried about shipping damage. They look pretty cool too, so for those of you with the plexi-glass side window on your case, this is a nice buy to make your internals look a bit more flashy as well.
Cons: None
Overall Review: These work great. It was a huge upgrade from the 4gb I had in my rig. I know it doesn't account for much, but the performance index in Windows went from 5.9 to 7.8 just by putting these in. I noticed a considerable improvement in gameplay, primarily with loading times. My rig is an i5 2500k o/c'd just slightly to 3.6 gHz, MSI Gefore GTX 560 Ti 2gb, Asrock Z68 mobo, and now added this RAM into the mix. My build runs exactly as I intended.
Great buy thus far
Pros: The picture quality is exactly what I would expect it to be: crisp, clear, sharp images. Refresh rate is plenty high enough so I don't see any noticeable motion blur. The screen size is perfect, and it is lighterweight than my old monitor (20" LCD monitor). I haven't yet used it with my computer (I'm waiting on my MSI Geforce 560 TI to arrive), but I have used it with my PS3 and it works great.
Cons: No DVI input. This is the reason I must wait to use this monitor with my computer. My current video card only has 2 DVI outputs, so it is incompatible with this monitor (monitor has HDMI and VGA inputs, only). This isn't that big of a deal because I intended to use it with the new graphics card anyway, but those who are simply looking to replace their monitor, be sure it will work with your setup.
Overall Review: The monitor does not have any built-in speakers, but if you connect to it via HDMI, it does have a 3.5mm audio out jack that you can connect to external speakers. For me, I won't be doing that as I have a 5.1 surround for my computer, but those out there who use simple speaker setups, this is useful to know.
Works great!
Pros: Plenty of cables for many extras, all cables were labeled which would make it really easy for even someone with a low knowledge of PC building. PSU itself feels sturdy and well constructed. The black finish looks really nice when paired with a black finish case.
Cons: Only con I have is the abundance of cables is so much that it makes it a little difficult to work with, but it isn't a big issue. The wires don't affect my airflow in my antec 300 illusion case, so no big deal
Overall Review: Great PSU at a great price. I somewhat wish it was modular so I didn't have the bundle of extra cables inside the case, but I knew that before I bought it, so no big deal. Also, the instruction manual was well writen. I feel so much better when I get an electronic component like this and the instructions are actually writen in fluent English.
