Fantastic card
Pros: For the money this is an amazing card, so much so that my friend who is running a crossfire GTX 680 setup said he couldn't even notice the difference when watching me play Skyrim on ultra or the Sleeping Dogs game that came with the card versus on his pc. This card will run any game on the market at very high resolution with little to no problems.
Cons: I will have to wait a bit for the price to come down more so I can buy another one for a crossfire setup. Also I had to go to the website to download the newest drivers instead of them being on the cd... what a hassle! Also it's not made of bacon, but it never gets hot so I probably wouldn't have that awesome smell anyways...
Overall Review: I put together my pc wanting to build a rig that would last me years with very few upgrades. This was the perfect card for that. I will definitely get another to run the crossfire setup in the future. cord broke
Pros: Great sound while they lasted. Got them on sale so they were cheap.
Cons: Dog ran by the coffee table where I was watching a movie with them on so my gf could study and hit the cord. Instead of it coming out of the laptop jack the male part remained in the laptop while the cord went flying. I had to use needle nose pliers to get the male end out from the laptop. Outside of RMA for newegg so I can't replace.
Overall Review: Good sound, not durable at all.
Literally Useless
Pros: None
Cons: I couldn't even install it. This heatsink doesn't come with a backplate to keep it attached to the mobo. It assumes you have a lesser one already installed and the instructions ask you to use that one. The 17-6700K I just bought doesn't come with an Intel cheapo heatsink and none of the older ones I have are 1151 compatable to now I have to RMA this one, take the hit on shipping, and wait till I get my next heatsink in to finish my build. Literally nowhere on this product does it warn that it doesn't come with a backplate. Way to save 15 cents Arctic.... Never buying your cheap products again.
Overall Review: I would not recommend this product or this manufacturer to anyone. Any company that would elect to save the pennies it would take to include a simple piece of metal to ensure that all customers that buy their product can use it is probably cutting corners elsewhere and their products shouldn't be trusted. They even include cheap a plastic back mount for backwards 1150, 1155, and 1156 compatibility... The stupidity of this is beyond me.
I love this thing!
Pros: Portable. Dual USB. Cheap.
Cons: It takes a while to charge???
Overall Review: My wife and I use this on every trip we go on. We always make sure it's charged up before hand. The dual USB lets us charge both our phones at the same time (or a phone and a tablet). It takes a while to charge, but we can literally run both our phones for 3 days solid off this before having to look for another place charge. I would recommend this to anyone.
Meh...
Pros: Fan for a PCI slot. Can be good in some cases where additional cooling is needed but not a lot of room for fans. I thought it would be a useful addition to pull heat off the GPU's and power supply.
Cons: It was a little loud. There was a noticeable difference in noise when I took the fan out of the case. I have 10 fans altogether in my case not counting the PS and 2 video cards (4 in push/pull on the H100 radiator, 4 in push/pull on my HDD raid array, 1 on back, and 1 on bottom), so I was surprised when my PC became "quieter".
Overall Review: I bought 2 of these initially and only installed one. After about 18mo the first one started to make super loud "jet engine" noises. I swapped it with the other fan, but even working fine my wife and I were surprised what a noise difference the fan made. Maybe it's because there's nothing to dampen it like the other case fans??? Like I listed in the Pro's, I think it would be good for a case with not a lot of space for fans, but usually you want those mATX and mITX cases to be quiet... so it kind of defeats the purpose.
dat door....
Pros: lots of fans. interesting color scheme.
Cons: Door wouldn't stay shut at all and took up the whole front. I could either put the box directly on the carpet and never open the door to get to the power button (not going to happen) or rip the door off the hinges. RMA'd after one day. I found an awesome deal on an In Win GRone and I love it.
Overall Review: Door was a deal breaker. Had to pay $40 for return shipping on the RMA but worth every penny to not have to deal with that door.
