COOL!!!
Pros: -Keeps my 1100t at below 40c with prime95 blend test at stock, 51 max with a 4.2ghz OC -Can't even hear the pump running at all, had to put my finger on it to make sure it was running at first and felt slight vibration, it's def pumping though. -Great option if you are using Corsair Vengeance memory with the tall heat spreaders as you won't run into clearance problems like you will with most air coolers -Looks pretty darn spiffy in my case -Hoses are very easy to deal with....super flexible without compromising liquid flow rate
Cons: -Instructions aren't all that great (I expected worse tbh from the reviews)....just goto youtube and you'll have it figured out in 5 minutes -Only comes with one fan that isn't great (not a bad fan by any means....i actually re-purposed it for my HAF X VGA duct)...got two CM Excaliburs in push/pull on it atm (and I didn't have to buy extra screws to do this....just use two screws on each fan....they will support the setup just fine). Can't take off any eggs really for these cons...I went into the purchase knowing both of these things
Overall Review: GREAT cooling for the price....if you are not scared of water cooling (I still don't know about piece build kits but these all in ones seem to be really solid.....tried for a week to find anyone complaining about a leak with these and couldn't find a single case)
Win 7
Pros: -Quick install -Looks nicer than XP -Love the new taskbar -Stable -Doesn't treat you like you know nothing about computers like Vista did -3 monitor extended desktop setup was a snap -Boots up on my rig (see other thoughts) in about 20 seconds flat -GPU drivers installed like butta
Cons: -Had trouble figuring out how to instal on a RAID 0 array (problem was solved after finally making sense out of my mobo manual)....really just a PEBKAC error though so I can't fault MS or take off an egg. Had been 6 years since my last custom build so i was rusty. -Doesn't make my corned beef hash in the morning?
Overall Review: My Rig: -Asus Sabertooth 990fx -AMD 1100t BE -2 x HD6950s xfired -2 x Seagate Barracuda 500gb in RAID 0 -4 x 4gb Vengenace Corsair 1600mhz -Thermaltake TR2 1000w PSU -LiteOn 16x DVD burner -Asus 12x BlueRay Burner -3 x Acer 23" LED backlit 1080p LCD displays
Great PSU for a demanding build
Pros: -Has more than enough power to throw at my xfired 6950s running at 6970 clocks as well as my 1100t running at 4.2ghz....I'm sure I have plenty of power to spare as well for if I decide to do trifire -Looks great in my case -Quiet as all hell, certainly can't hear it over my 6950s at idle or the dual 120mm Excaliburs I have in push/pull on my Kuhler 620 -Hardly warm with everything under load
Cons: -Not completely modular but thats no biggy with my HAF X case that has the PSU cable cover
Overall Review: Great power supply if you are looking to be running a power demanding rig.....also great future-proofing
AMAZING
Pros: This thing is amazing. -great airflow -looks awesome -both my sapphire 6950 flex and twin frozr II 6950 fit in it great and am able to use vga duct with both.....idk how hot they would be without the duct but I've never seen either get above 62 when running 3dmark -tons of room for about anything you could think of throwing in it -cpu cooler mounting bracket cutout worked fine with my sabertooth 990fx and an Antec Kuhler 620 -did I mention the airflow in this thing rocks? (and this is coming from someone who OCed an 1100t BE to 4.2 ghz without going over 51 core temp)
Cons: -Heavy (then again this isn't exactly a con when you are looking for quality....even the plastic in it is very durable) -Had to modify the vga duct a bit because of the pci-e spacing on my mobo (not really their fault since they can't account for every mobo design....all I had to do was cut a bit out of the duct) -cable management could have more room but then again I'm a total noob with that and didn't really try and ziptie stuff....just kinda shoved the panel on without trying to organize cables much (last build was back in the days of flat IDE cables before cable management)....still looks neat and organized inside the main part of the case though -5.25" quick change system doesn't really hold my drives down well but it wasn't that big a deal to just put a screw on the other side in each optical drive.
Overall Review: The price is totally worth it for this case......get it!!!
