Just...wow

CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750 W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready
CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750 W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: I can't even begin to start.... ok, so for one, its Corsair, a brand that I trust and so should you. from the start the box looks great, they advertise well, it is clean, and very appealing to look at, attention grabber from the get go. open the box, and it's another "WOW" moment, excellent padding around the PSU itself, cables in a resealable (probably waterproof) bag, and the PSU is encased in a velvet bag to keep dust away, just unbelievable. going even further, the initial install was a bit scary, for the power it has, i was surprized at how small it was, so I was not sure it would fit in my antec 900, but luckly it did. Now, here is where the problem began, as I started hooking up the cables, I noticed that all the connectors were inside out for the sata cable, not a problem, I'll just bend them the other way....WAIT!!! now the sata connectors are upside down, OH NOES!! so now i'd have to twist the cable just to get them to connect? find out next time, on OTHER THOUGHTS!!!

Cons: Velvet bag seemed too thin, I want a refund ^_^

Overall Review: Last time, on PROS* our psu left off on a scary moment where the connecters were inside out and backwards, was this the end for our little psu? nope, corsair thought of that, and so they have it so that the connectors can connect for cases that have the PSU on top, or on bottom, can you believe it? they thought of everything with this psu, as well as 90% efficentcy at 20% loads? I'm usually idle downloading stuff, hardly pulling any power, so umm, yea this psu is just great, If you don't have one, you need to get one

Most Critical Review

OCZ does not honor rebates.

OCZ Agility 3 2.5" 60GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) AGT3-25SAT3-60G
OCZ Agility 3 2.5" 60GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) AGT3-25SAT3-60G

Pros: When the product works it works well

Cons: Their customer support team is rude, you get mixed messages when you talk with a customer service rep, they do not honor their warranty rebates correctly, because of THEIR error, not only did the warranty form not print, which they sent me a letter informing me of, but their rebates they offered they will not honor, despite my purchase from newegg expressly saying $30 mir, their office claims it says "up to $30 mir" which may be true, but for MY product it is a $30 mir, they refused to send me the correct amount.

Overall Review: If they did they'd get my full support, I purchased these at $95 with a $30 mir bringing them to $65, this of course during their firmware scare, I chose to support them and they did not pull through, sadly I will never do business with them again, and I was a very loyal OCZ customer, purchased every single lineup of their Agility series since day one.

Get ready to have your mousepad wear out

XTRAC PADS Ripper XXL Mouse Pad
XTRAC PADS Ripper XXL Mouse Pad

Pros: It's huge! Makes the space look fantastic

Cons: The cloth top of the pad will separate from the rubber part of the pad within 4 months of use, since this is such a big pad, having it wear from the middle makes it impossible to fix. It's now a huge waste of money. If you are a heavy gamer, this pad is not for you.

Overall Review: They need to put something around the edges to keep the mat in tact, whatever method they are using is clearly inefficient and not up to standards.

It's quiet, but not efficient.

SilenX EFZ-100HA1 Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler
SilenX EFZ-100HA1 Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler

Pros: VERY quiet, low fan vibration, low profile, excellent looking heatsink

Cons: Will not cool under load, I've had cpu temps upwards to 70c using this thing, with Phobya HeGrease and AC5, didn't matter which one was used. This thing will also melt, the 2 copper pipes that are at the bottom of the cooler melted onto my board, resulting in a replacement. The rubber fan mounts will also move over time, so while it is an excellent solution to reduce vibration, it is impractical for long term use. I noticed my fan moving about 1/2 inch off of the heatsink over a 6 month period.

Overall Review: Their customer service isn't too bad and are willing to help, at least from my initial contact. They are a bit slow to respond but as I said, seem friendly.

For the price, it is lacking.

SILVERSTONE Sugo Series SST-SG08B Black Aluminum Mini-ITX Desktop Computer Case 600W 80+ Bronze Certified / Single +12V rail Power Supply
SILVERSTONE Sugo Series SST-SG08B Black Aluminum Mini-ITX Desktop Computer Case 600W 80+ Bronze Certified / Single +12V rail Power Supply

Pros: This is a beautiful case, with great design and build quality. That being said, there are some huge cons.

Cons: This is not worth the $200 price tag, ever. If they want $200 for this, they need to include the adapters for the case, as well as the side fan that is optional. This case while great simply isn't that great. The cables for the PSU are way too long, something they know about yet they still produce the same size cables. The PSU should be modular at this price as well, granted it is a bronze 600w psu, a user can purchase a similar watt PSU that is modular for around the same price. I was a huge fan of the SG07 case and the price for that was equally rediculous, and the case has never once gone on sale, which is an absolute slap in the face for loyal customers. I'm sorry, but Silverstone loses my respect on this case.

Overall Review: Include the adapter, and don't make us have to purchase a right angle SATA when you know your customers are going to need one. For $200 this case needs to come with everything, I can build a mid tower with a 750w modular PSU for this price, AND get all the cables. Seriously silverstone, what were you thinking?

Rosewill RNX-N150HG - Wireless N150 Wi-Fi Adapter - IEEE 802.11b / 11g / 11n, (1T1R), Up to 150 Mbps Data Rates, USB 2.0 Interface, 4 dBi High Power Detachable Antenna

Pros: Worked for a wile

Cons: After a year it starts to lose connection, forcing you to shut down the PC in order to re-establish a connection. The drivers are old as well, going as far back as 2011. This is suppose to be a $20 router so I expected a bit more out of it. Support does not do return shipping labels for faulty products.

Overall Review: It was good wile it lasted, either the product is bad, or the drivers do not stand up to the test of time. Driver signing showed it did not pass windows drivers so I assume this company does not go by the book.
