EVGA Z68 FTW 160-SB-E689-K2 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Nice solid made motherboard, packed well, awesome customer support, warranty,if following guidlines is still great.(see below)

Cons: Bios!Bios!Bios! Why evg a why,did you let "X" leave for a competing company? All the sales of what HAD been the greatest graphics card and motherboard company to ever exist, now belong to your greatest rival...Im actually distraught.:(

Other Thoughts: If anyone from evga happens across this, just know the evga fan base is still there. The change of warranty from 10 year to 3 years, paired with the worst bios programming ever seen on a high dollar board is a recipie for distruction. I would buy again if the bios (this goes for every board in the x79 z77 z75, line up) was even remotely decent. If the warranty was like it was, then i could wait for a decent bios programming team. But your putting NEW boards out, when you should be putting all your resources into fixing the issues at hand, and saving your mobo division before its to late. (midnight)

Fractal Design Define XL Black Pearl w/ USB 3.0 ATX Full Tower Silent PC Computer Case

5 out of 5 eggs Sleeper case! modding heavenly goodness 08/29/2012

This review is from: Fractal Design Define XL Black Pearl w/ USB 3.0 ATX Full Tower Silent PC Computer Case

Pros: Sturdy metal construction, incredible sound proofing on the interior. Elegant design, minimalistic. More room than some NY apartments. Does not look or light up like a disco ball spaceship.

Cons: The plastic front door and bezel are made of plastic, and would be nice to have mobo tray.

Other Thoughts: I am gonna step up and say that if you are a modder, or are not afraid of removing a few rivets, and cutting a few holes, then this is the case for you. Yes it will fit an XL ATX, and it WILL support multipule rads, but you will have to mod. You can't have it all, so there is give and take, you can have rad support built in, but you might end up with the alien vs predictor at the county fair disco case. If your into that look, then this case isn't for you. If you like quiet, sturdy, and minimal cases, then don't sleep on this case.
Would love to see a side panel with window available, as fractal did with the r4.
And also, not sure why people say fractal is hard to communicate with, I sent a few emails, and was replied to quickly, with actually good solid info. Great customer service In my opinion.

C2G 43053 50Pk .68in Self-Adhesive Cable Clamp
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

5 out of 5 eggs expensive, but work well, if you know how to use clips 07/27/2012

This review is from: C2G 43053 50Pk .68in Self-Adhesive Cable Clamp

Pros: Black in color, locking clip, 50 per pack

Cons: None, they are clips nothing more nothing less, and they are a little on the expensive side

Other Thoughts: The other reviewer didn't specify what cables he was hanging from the ceiling, if you were trying to run 100' of cables with 5 clips, there isn't anything short of liquid nails or actual nails to keep these sticking. Wood prob isn't the best surface for adhesive, wood is porous, and absorbs fluids easily, and alcohol removes adhesive! These are cable clips, if you stick them to a metal case or laminate you will have no problems.
