Great PSU for me
Pros: I bought this thing back in 2005 and it's been running every day since then just about.
Cons: One quirky episode after 5 years of use where it seemed to have died, but then after tapping and poking around on it , fired back up and has continued on.
Overall Review: I know they aren't selling this anymore...that's too bad. I'd buy another one if they did.
Needs Adjustment
Pros: Monitor itself looks nice. Nice and bright.. no problems there.
Cons: Was a pain to get set up (would only work in safe mode..and couldn't uninstall old monitor drivers in safe mode..so couldn't use it for a while)...but that's kind of a Windows complaint probably. What i really hate is that you can't seem to adjust the direction it's pointing.. and the default position is at your lap. I just want to grab it and point it up a little but then it would just break. I've got a big book under it to raise it up then then something jammed under the front of the book to shim it up so it faces perpendicular to your eyes.
Overall Review: if i could go back i'd try a different monitor.. but when the lights are off it looks pretty good.
Meh
Pros: Overall pretty good. I had no problems except for.....
Cons: ..... side panel doesn't close with a hard drive installed. Kind of defeats the purpose. Would have been an easy fix if they had every actually tried to use this thing. There is plenty of room in there but they built the slots too close to the side. Even without the SATA or power connected, even just the slider rails stick out too far.
Overall Review: Should have stuck with the older Centurion model
Beware if matching existing pair
Pros: works independently just fine
Cons: doesn't work with the existing pair of OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K that i already had. (2 x 1GB).
Overall Review: The packaging says that it's OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K but my computer identifies it as something different (using System Information for Windows, for example). So i don't know if it's something somebody else returned to Newegg and they turned around and pawned it off on me or what, but with their no return policy i'm stuck having wasted 80 some bucks on memory i can't use. I have a DFI LN4 Lanparty UT motherboard and apparently they need to be exact matches, which these aren't despite being labeled as exactly the same. Buying from Newegg is no better than buying from some stranger online these days it seems.
