Very Nice Camcorder

JVC GZ-MG155 Black&Silver 1.07MP 32X Optical Zoom 30GB Hard Disk Drive Digital Camcorder
JVC GZ-MG155 Black&Silver 1.07MP 32X Optical Zoom 30GB Hard Disk Drive Digital Camcorder

Pros: Very awesome quality in ultra fine mode. I love the fact that you can record in 16:9 widescreen. Video looks great on my 40" wide screen HD LCDTV. Very small and compact, which makes for easy travel. Plenty of features and adjustable settings. 32x optical zoom is really nice, get's very distorted beyond 50x digital zoom of course. Great price considering what you're getting.

Cons: So here goes, it records in mpeg2 format which is pretty standard, however, most media players on a computer will not play mpeg2. You will have to download some codec in order for this to play back. Also the software that is included will not let you convert the mpeg2 file into a more usable format like mpeg or avi file format. Try using this free program called SUPER. It'll convert any video file into your preferred file type...and it's actually free, no strings attached. I really dislike the software that was included, it's easy to navigate but doesn't have enough options for me. Also, the battery that it comes with will only last 80 minutes. Larger batteries are pricey but do provide a larger charge. I got the middle range battery and a full charge will last 180 minutes. Obviously it's not HD, but then again, it's about $300-$500 cheaper then a HD camcorder.

Overall Review: Now, I know this software that this camera comes with is just bundled and isn't really suppose to blow people away. That's why they have things like Final Cut Pro, Premeire and Pinnacle out just to name a few. A software package like one of these would help turn you into a indepentant film director...or at least that's what it'll have you thinking haha. For a beginer to possibly an advance beginer, this is a great camera...perfect for those special moments that you want to capture on film.

La Crosse Technology WD-3308U-WAL Weather Direct 4 Day Internet Powered Wireless Forecaster Brown/Black
La Crosse Technology WD-3308U-WAL Weather Direct 4 Day Internet Powered Wireless Forecaster Brown/Black

Pros: - It accesses the internet to retrieve your weather - It's weather access requires no subscription - It's affordable

Cons: So there's more con's here then pros really. Setting up this weather station is a real pain in the neck. The device itself really isn't wireless in that it directly connects to a wifi signal, instead you're forced to connect a wireless antenna to your router which then sends a signal to your weather station. Sounds simple enough right? Too bad there's an 8 step process to linking this antenna to your weather station. There's somewhat okay instructions that will help guide you through the manufacturers website in case you run into issues. Once you get past setting up this little trouble maker, then comes the other issues... -Very small - so small, that while hanging up on the wall, you need to walk up right to it in order to read it. The contrast is still low set at it's very highest which doesn't help trying to view it. -Definitely not back lit which is a shame -Wireless antenna that comes with is makes this loud buzzing sounds that's incredibly annoying (not sure if mine's just defective that way or if it's supposed to be buzzing) -Materials feel cheap and the overall purchase has been a disappointment

Overall Review: Look, set aside all the issues with this thing and focus on the things it does, yes, it grabs questionable forecast information and displays it in what really is a nice format. You just get what you pay for. If you're looking for something a bit nicer, I'd look at some better models all together.

BEST IPOD EVER

Apple MC547LL/A - 64GB iPod Touch w/ Camera (4th Gen)
Apple MC547LL/A - 64GB iPod Touch w/ Camera (4th Gen)

Pros: - the display. It has the same quality display as the iPhone which is outstanding. - the new camera addition. It's HD video camera is outstanding and provides some great videos for uploading to facebook or youtube - the multi-touch and gryo sensor. I'm not familiar with previous generation iPods but this one allows for multiple touching which really helps with typing faster plus it adds some function with gaming that's really nice. - the battery life. Honestly, I'm surprised how long the battery lasts on a single charge. Provided you don't play 3-D games all day long, and even if you do, you can get 3 hours of gaming in, this thing lasts forever on a single charge. - compact design. Even more compact then previous models yet feels sturdy enough that it chances of it breaking while in your pocket are slim to none.

Cons: - fingerprints galore. On both the back and the front. I find myself cleaning this thing often. The other bad part about Gen 4 is that 3rd party manufactures have been slow to respond on making screen protectors and cases for this iPod (Previous Gen cases will not work with this iPod as they have moved the power button and added a front facing camera and a back camera) - poor quality camera stills. Sure this iPod takes pictures which is all I can ask for. Good enough to post to facebook but not good enough to print obviously. The pictures are nothing more then video stills so there's not much to expect there. - lack of multi tasking and Adobe Flash support. Sure it upsets me that it doesn't multitask but I can live with it and understand why they don't include it. What I can't understand is their lack of support of Flash due to security and contract issues with Adobe. But it's not all that bad, for instance, if you want to watch YouTube videos, they have a App for that.

Overall Review: Overall, I'm greatly satisfied with the purchase. Sadly I ordered it from Apple direct but would of preferred to get it through Newegg knowing how well their customer support is. If you're looking for something that's close to being a smart phone as possible without the contract, then this is the device for you. With the large amount of apps available for this thing, there's almost nothing it can't do and the best part about it is that there's a lot of useful apps out there that are free. Even the ones that aren't free range from $.99 to $1.99. Great product, you won't be disappointed. I know I'm not

Great Tool for Artists

Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen & Touch Touch - 7.5" x 5.1" (190mm x 130mm) Pen - 8.5" x 5.4" (216mm x 137mm) Active Area USB Tablet
Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen & Touch Touch - 7.5" x 5.1" (190mm x 130mm) Pen - 8.5" x 5.4" (216mm x 137mm) Active Area USB Tablet

Pros: -Easy to setup -Easy to customize settings -sleek design, very responsive to touch For a graphic artist, I use illustator, photoshop and flash all the time. This tablet works very well. The over all size of this tablet is very nice to work with.

Cons: My only, (and I mean only) complaint is that I have a dual monitor setup and the software doesn't allow you to setup the tablet to dedicate itself to one monitor. So now you only have half of the tablet to use for each monitor. No big deal really because the tablet is big enough, that it doesn't really matter.

Overall Review: If you want to save yourself from spending $1000+ on a tablet PC (which I have and use), then I highly recommend picking this up. It's great for photo editing, illustrating, drawing.

Awesome LCD of Awesomeness

Acer 22" WSXGA+ LCD Monitor 5 ms 1680 x 1050 D-Sub, DVI X223Wbd
Acer 22" WSXGA+ LCD Monitor 5 ms 1680 x 1050 D-Sub, DVI X223Wbd

Pros: I've owned a few LCD's brands ranging from Polyview to Dell to no names and I must say, these monitors are goreous. They are big but not too "WOW THESE WILL NEVER FIT ON MY DESK" big. Plenty of screen area and high enough resolution to fit my needs. Guild Wars and World of Warcraft look great. No ghosting from what I can tell. Screen brightness is sharp enough, not as bright as my old Polyviews but nothing that's a game changer. Screen tilts. I wanna say it's a 20 degree tilt. Plenty of options through the monitor menu to setup your monitor just the way you like it. Energy Star effiecent. Uses 1/3 less energy then my old LCD's which is always nice

Cons: Like many people have mentioned, no height adjustment, but honestly, is it really a concern? No, because I have a desk that sits up high to begin with. Plus if the lack of the height adjustment is a real big deal, you can always wall mount the montior, buy an adjustable stand for the montor......really, you have options, but overall, the lack of this feature is no big deal. Buttons on the monitor seem really flimsy. I haven't had any issues with the two monitors so far.

Overall Review: I got my monitors on sale $150 each as of 4/01/09. Even if they return to their original price of $160 or $170, YOU'RE GETTING AN AWESOME DEAL! Best 22" Monitor in this price range! And I've even bought the 21.5 Asus Customer Award LCD monitor for work, and this Acer is a lot better in my opinion. I'm very happy. Also, Newegg is CRAZY! I ordered these monitors on a Monday morning, I got them Tuesday afternoon.......and that was with free shipping! I bow to you people at Newegg, you sure do know how to treat a customer!

Best Simpsons Game Yet

Simpsons: The Game Xbox 360 Game
Simpsons: The Game Xbox 360 Game

Pros: The movie scenes are amazing. Especially in HD. It's like watching your own personal Simpsons adventure. The in game cell shading graphics are done nicely and fit the overall look that we come to expect of a Simpsons game nicely. Attention to detail has been enforced in this game. Not only will you find a lot of things that relate to the series but you'll also find a lot of easter eggs. The voice acting is halarious. Very well done. Co-Op can be interesting in times and allows your friend or significant other to become involved in the game play.

Cons: Now the reason why I only give this game a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because the game play style is not ground breaking. Nothing different then any other platform game. Also, camera angles can become awkard. There's only so much you can do to move the camera around.

Overall Review: If you're a fan of the Simpsons show, you'll love this game. It's safe to say that this game beats any other simpsons game out there but considering all the other simpson games were nothing overly specail, it's not saying much. But like I stated before, if you love the Simpsons show, you'll love this game.
