Great Solution for Me!
Pros: Took me 20 minutes to have it installed and live at my church. It goes up into suspended ceiling SO EASILY!!! The management software will update all AP's firmware automatically. I am getting incredible range in a mostly block and brick building, and I'm even covering most of the parking lot. I like the design, and the LED tells me it's status whenever I walk by.
Cons: The PoE injector is smaller than I expected, but I couldn't reach my outlet because the cord is only about 2 feet. A longer cord would get in the way if it were attached to a full size switch however so I'm ok with it.
Overall Review: So far so good!
Excellent Laptop
Pros: Build quality is excellent. I like the heavy duty metal hinges, the secure latching lid, and the sturdiness of the screen. Also has those elusive VGA screw holes which make things easier. USB 3 is great, lights on outside of lid are very handy. Battery life is good -- not excellent. Utrabay is a great feature to add a second HDD if necessary. I did not buy mine from Newegg, but I wanted to review it here to contribute to the information available. Mine has a 256GB SSD which is extremely nice, and the i7 processor knows no limits. I'll be upgrading to 8GB RAM pretty soon to better match the processor and SSD. It has Dolby Advanced Audio II which is the only thing I've ever found that will give me a graphic EQ for EVERYTHING that plays through my speakers (even Pandora!). The integrated speakers are actually the best laptop speakers I've ever heard. Dual mics are good enough to work with the voice recognition project I've been programming. The keyboard is better than most desktop keyboards. It is quiet but tactile and the keys don't wobble at all. This generation has the ThinkLight which was just flat out cool. It is a flashlight near the webcam that shines down on the keyboard. May not be quite as nice as a backlit keyboard, but it takes less power and is a unique touch. The plastics are rubberized and feel really good. The whole thing is very sturdy.
Cons: Weight. It weighs a little more than a MacBook Pro (2012) with CD drive and 6 cell battery (standard). It is a little thick, but wears it well. I wish it had HDMI and not the mini DP. Dedicated mic and speaker jacks would have been nice.ThinkLight can cast a glare on the webcam if used simultaneously. No surround sound support. It comes loaded with bloatware of course so please REINSTALL WINDOWS
Overall Review: Buy one, buy five, buy as many as you need. It won't disappoint. The laptop is a quality machine with a long history of being durable and powerful.
Good buy
Pros: I have owned this for a year now, and it has been great. I bought the 32GB and it has proved to be just the right size. I can keep a few movies on it all the time for entertainment, and have loads of room left for programs, files, folder backups etc. and I leave the other half free for general use. The sliding design is brilliant, though it does not snap as nicely as it used to. The blue plastic looks great, but the XT part has started to fade. The black plastic is rubberized and feels good and durable. The case seems protective, and just looks cool. I have a wrist strap on it too which is pretty nice. Who ever thought of calling a flash drive "Patriot Supersonic Rage XT" needs a raise too.
Cons: The case is a little wide, and so on SOME computers, I can't use the port next to it. The cover can slide back sometimes in my backpack.
Overall Review: BUY ONE....or five
Nice!
Pros: This tablet (upon which I am typing) is an excellent value. It has a huge processing capacity, and RAM is fast. The build quality is good and shipping was fast.
Cons: There is one single dead pixel. The resolution is son high you can't see it if you don't look for it very closely.
Good value
Pros: Good quality cable with stress relief slits on the end. The cable was shipped quickly enough.
Cons: Hey, it works. no cons
