Great, in most ways

GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z97X-Gaming 7 LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z97X-Gaming 7 LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Great motherboard. Things installed easily, efficiently and the layout is great. Work with all my gear and still room for expansion. Everything seemed sturdy, in-place and the addition of the BIOS boot-button and error display is a good kick for trouble-shooting.

Cons: There's a constant 'noise' from any audio-jack whenever the computer is processing at any rate above an average of 5-7%. The heavier the process, the louder the 'ringing' is and its rather annoying. Sound is coming through almost too loud as well, I had to turn down my system to 10% or below to keep it at moderate levels, and even with the system down to that, other programs don't abide by it? Started up a game to check the temperatures and the sound was catastrophic; clipping, no regards to the previous volume controls I had set before launch. Not quite sure what to think of it, but I've only seen one other person review about the 'noise' as there aren't many writings on this product.

Overall Review: Two out of 17(current reviews thus far) is a high percentage for this sound issue, I'd shoot for a better quality motherboard from Gigabyte that'll cost a bit more, but hopefully you'll steer clear of this and avoid losing your hearing.

Should've listened to the other guy

ASUS 21.5" AH-IPS FHD LCD Monitor AH-IPS 5ms (GTG) D-Sub, HDMI VX229H
ASUS 21.5" AH-IPS FHD LCD Monitor AH-IPS 5ms (GTG) D-Sub, HDMI VX229H

Pros: Lovely design, sleek and attractive. Good use of desk space and solid stand.

Cons: An earlier review said they got no cables for the video input. I got some, but not all of them that were stated on the products page, which, I needed and HDMI cable, and it says there are supposed to be two, but there's none in the box. Now I can't enjoy this monitor till I go out and get one. Huge, inconvenient hassle.
