Pros: Pretty powerful for what it is and how much it costs. Plays Deus Ex Human Revolution, HoN, and WoW just fine even with only 4gb ram. I plan on upgrading to its max of 8gb so it'll be ready for Battlefield 3, which I'd recommend others do as well since it'll only cost you ~$50 on newegg anyway. Bought this to replace my clunker laptop for school, and when I'm actually using it to just take notes in class the battery is still above 50% after 3 classes unplugged with power on/offs between each.
Cons: none
Overall Review: Completely content with this purchase
not that great
Pros: it somewhat works
Cons: cannot get wireless to function at all often times out when trying to log into configuration
Overall Review: it worked immediately when i first plugged it in and h it the pairing buttons, however, as soon as I put in the cd and tried to configure the wireless everything went to hell. If I have ANY of the wireless security types selected it flat out denies access to my laptop/tablet/phone when i try to connect after putting in the password, and if unsecured they can connect but don't have internet access. Essentially stuck using my dying wifi router as the internet input, so even with the powerline hookup I'm still subjected to the hangs/disconnects of my wifi router. If I cant figure out how to make this work like its supposed to I wasted $80. Really doesn't help that the support faq/pictures on their website show you how to fix a different model and not this one. Overall pretty aggravated right now
louder than you would expect
Pros: Lots of airflow, had room to add one in my HAF 932
Cons: Maybe mine is faulty or something, but there's nothing whisper quiet about this . Its louder than all the other fans in my case combined, and the HAF 932 comes with 4(3x230mm, 1x140mm)
Overall Review: if you dont mind the noise, this fan looks nice and does its job exceptionally
My first DOA ever
Pros: Received item 1 day before estimated shipping date(go NewEgg!)
Cons: DOA: Drive could not be recognized by my computer in any way. Updated BIOS, tried different SATA cables/slots, switched to ACHI in bios, then tried raid, then ide, nothing detected the drive and unfortunately the GSkill "support forums" showed a lot of people having similar problems.
Overall Review: Was really looking forward to this SSD, been using GSkill ram for years now with no problems ever, but I'm thinking I may have made a poor choice selecting them for a SSD, I guess I'll just have to wait and see if the RMA'd one actually works or not.
worth every penny and more
Pros: This case is flat out amazing. Upgraded from a mid tower with only 80mm fan availability, and man, the 230mm fans on this thing are ridiculous. Despite their size they are quiet, and despite being quiet they have ridiculous airflow. This case is also great for hiding wires, hell I did a quick install and everything looks completely organized. The massive full tower size is awesome, there is plenty of space between hd's if you have multiple to allow proper cooling of the fan thats blasting on them. The wires for the frontside USB and 1394 come already in a single connector rather than multiple + - connectors so its extremely easy to connect to your mobo, the power/reset/led ones are are still singular but they have a tendency to be different on different mobos so this was expected. Last note, bottom mounted power supply is also a plus; helps with clutter and cooling. GREAT case.
Cons: For some this may be a little big; I use a 37" lcd for a monitor and this case is as tall and about 2/3 as wide as my tv. Also, some people may have trouble with wire lengths from power supply due to the large case size.
Overall Review: Worth every penny, I'm definitely in love with this case.
Pros: Board worked awesome on arrival, running AMD phenom 9850 BE, 4gb gskill @1066,
Cons: Board fried tonight, after about 1 month with not too much of a workload going on, blue screened while playing age of conan, and on the reboot not even the bios will launch.
Overall Review: Guess I was one of the unlucky ones, but atleast now i have a reason to buy a reg ATX board and go SLI
