Sceptre 32" 720p 60Hz LED HDTV E328BV-HDH
Sceptre 32" 720p 60Hz LED HDTV E328BV-HDH

Pros: Great TV. I bought this for my dorm, and looks amazing. And the headphone audio out jack allows me to hook up my computer speakers, which are now my dedicated TV speakers =]

Cons: I don't know if it was due to my speakers (Bose Companion II) and the magnets inside, but my screen became discolored in the lower corners, where my speakers were placed.

Great cables

Rosewill RCAB-11021 - 3-Foot Male to Male USB / USB 2.0 A Male to Micro B (5-Pin) Male Cable with Ferrite Core - Gold Plated Connectors

Pros: I bought these to replace the cable for my WD passport. It works great, and has a tight connection with the microUSB.

Cons: None

Broken at first, but quickly taken care of

Vantec NexStar TX 2.5" SATA to USB 2.0 External Hard Drive / SSD Enclosure - Model NST-210S2-BK
Vantec NexStar TX 2.5" SATA to USB 2.0 External Hard Drive / SSD Enclosure - Model NST-210S2-BK

Pros: Fast and great support from Vantec. I got this enclosure to clone my old hard drive onto a Seagate Momentus XT 750GB hybrid drive. It cloned about 300GB in 8 hours through my USB/eSATA port, which blew my mind for a USB 2.0 system. Also, my device was found to be dead on arrival, so I emailed Vantec support to see what I could do. They had me request and RMA to replace it asap. I was in the middle of moving at the time, so I didn't file the RMA right away. Seeing that I hadn't filed one, Vantec actually followed up with me asking if had filed the RMA, yet. This is the first company I've worked with that showed such care for a piece of $8 equipment.

Cons: It gets a little too warm sometimes. The aluminum casing does a good job with keeping the hard drive cool most of the time, but the protective film that it comes with seems to get heated onto the hard drive. It took some careful jimmying, but I finally got it off. I suggest attaching the protective film to the interior of the enclosure if you're going to be swapping out the hard drive. Otherwise, use the film as directed, it does a great job of protecting your static-sensitive bare drives. Also, I'm using this on a laptop with very limited USB ports. It requires both USB plugs to be connected to draw enough power, so be wary of when, and with what system, you'll be using the enclosure.

Overall Review: I really like this enclosure. I bought another one just recently, and it worked like a charm straight out of the box. I'm using them to hold the 500GB Western Digital that came stock in my laptop and an old 250GB drive that my friend had lying around. I highly recommend this piece of hardware. It performs well, and Vantec support is amazing.
