Great price

Rendition by Crucial 1GB DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory Model RM12864AA667
Rendition by Crucial 1GB DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory Model RM12864AA667

Pros: Great price for a gig, works well in my older system

Cons: can't think of any

Overall Review: I ordered this along with 2gb of ram to replace 3 512's that I had. Together they doubled my memory. I was using DDR2 4200. This work just fine and I can see a huge difference in how my system is running. I would have given this 5 eggs for rating, but I've only had this in my pc for 3 days now. Time will tell how well it holds up.

It works

Pros: It does what it's supposed to do. It's easy to use.

Cons: Cheap plastic

Overall Review: This item does what it needs to do. I use my memory card from my Sony camera, put it in an adapter and stick that adapter into this usb connector. I needed something like that for my laptop that doesn't have media ports like my desktop. It works. However, the cheap plastic covers for the USB port and where the adapter plugs in is easily breakable. I had it less than a day and one of the covers broke off. It doesn't affect how well it works in transferring data, though.

Pros: Great price

Cons: not really a con, but didn't realize it was one stick when I bought it

Overall Review: So far it's installed and it's working nicely. This, along with a 1GB stick, replaced 1.5GB that I was running previously. They were 4200 and the 5300 seems to be fine.

Surprisingly Quiet

Rosewill RD450S, 80 PLUS Certified 450 W Power Supply
Rosewill RD450S, 80 PLUS Certified 450 W Power Supply

Pros: Quiet, amount of power needed, smaller than a 400W I was using

Cons: fewer cables than my last power supply

Overall Review: This power supply did the trick when my old one started to spontaneously reboot my pc anytime there was a work load on it. I'm able to run programs now that take a little more power. The only issue with this supply is the cables. My hubby wanted to install an extra fan but there wasn't an extra SATA cable to do this. If you're running a basic system then you shouldn't have any issues.
