Rocket speed
Pros: Fast read and write speeds. Sandisk says read up to 190 MB/s and Write about 150 MB/s. I have not timed it but I can copy a 1 GB file to it in less than 2 min on my laptop USB 2.0 port. On desktop 3.0 port it is even faster. Twice as fast as Sandisk Ultra 3.0. I run Firefox Nightlies from one and they aren't any slower than from the hard drive.
Cons: Light weight plastic case. I wish the would put it in a case like the old Sandisk Titanium.
Overall Review: Liked it so much I bought two more a month after the first one. Now writing to some of my old PNY drives makes me crazy (4 to 5 times slower).
GT is slower than regular Voyager.
Pros: Sturdy, rubberized, drop proof thumb drive. It doesn't break when you get frustrated with it and throw it across the room.
Cons: Extreemly Sloooow. 11.5 min to copy a 1.5 gb folder. Only took 2.5 min with my older 32gb Voyager. Cannot run Firefox portable from VoyGT. Firefox times out and crashes every time. Firefox runs fine from the older Voyager. The claimed speed of up to 390mb/s is a lot higher than the 27mb/s ave that I saw. It came formatted as FAT. I saw no difference when formatted as exFat or NTFS.
Overall Review: I do not recommend. I would gladly trade my two 64gb GTs for Samsung BAR plus flash drives.
Short life
Pros: Solid, self-powered, 7 ports.
Cons: Had to double stick the base to my desk to keep it from falling off the back of my desk. Computer wouldn't boot if my Brother printer was plugged into the hub. Power light went dead after 2 months. It totally died yesterday. Computer wouldn't boot with only the keyboard plugged into the hub.
Overall Review: Short life may have been due to power adapter that came with it. Output is supposed to be 5v but my meter says it is pushing 12v.
