Works well for the price, good buy!
Pros: Simple Installation... I was having problems loading Windows 7 so I had to do a lot of re-installs and it didnt create a problem with the SSD. It works wayyyy faster than the old HD's.
Cons: Not too much space on this model, at 64GB, only good for people that dont need much space or in concert with another SSD or HDD that has more space.
Overall Review: This works well for what you need of it. If your looking for more space, then your just going to have a face it and hand out some more dough.
Avoid if using for AM3+ processor
Pros: When it worked, it worked well. Not fantastic, but good enough.
Cons: Newegg recommended this board along with an 8-core AM3+ processor. Zambezi 3.1 GHZ. It took me months to get everything to work, which included flashing the BIOS to an updated version with a USB card. I only have average tech knowledge so doing this took some intuition. I can't imagine a novice being able to do the stuff I had to do to get it to work. At first I thought it was Windows giving me the problem, and I installed it like 20 times. It would always randomly reset at certain points. Also, it would give me FF error right off the bat a lot and I would have to reseat the memory and mess around with it a little, then all the sudden it works. Finally when I updated the BIOS it let me install windows, and I had only a few problems from there on. During the time it worked I had some harddrive issues where it would suddenly turn off about 20 minutes into use. Fixed that. Then after it working for about a year, where I played a game with just a few random shut downs, I downloaded a new game and tried to play it. Within 5 minutes it shut off. Then again the same. And again. I tried to fix it and it started to just shut down during startup. Went crazy again and tried to fix it, after a few days of just reseating everything and trying it magically works again?! I am typing this review now and I am just waiting for it to shut down again. Not really what you want when you spend $1400 on a brand new computer. I see it is discontinued so luckily no one else can buy this. I will now avoid MSI because of this experience. I found there Live Update thing to be difficult to use. Just an overall terrible experience.
Overall Review: Avoid this, and if you have it, go buy another MB from a different manufacturer. I keep seeing MSI sending these responses to peoples messages telling them to contact them and blah blah.... a waste of time. Just AVOID!!!!
