Works like a champ

Corsair Hydro Series H100i V2 Extreme Performance Water / Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm (CW-9060025-WW)
Corsair Hydro Series H100i V2 Extreme Performance Water / Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm (CW-9060025-WW)

Pros: CPU now runs a lot cooler Only about $100 Easy to control the pump, fans and LED colors

Cons: Insanely difficult to install in an Antec 1200 case Tubes block the side panel from closing all the way due to the plastic bits sticking out to hold an optional side fan. I might be able to fix that though.

Overall Review: My i7 990X with the stock cooler was running from upper 60's to lower 70's Celsius while gaming. It now runs in the lower to mid 30's Celsius while gaming with this liquid cooler. I've only tested a few CPU demanding games so far, but I'm impressed. As for sound...I don't know if it's loud or not. I can't hear it because I use a headset and I've always got an oscillating fan or AC running in my computer room. I'm only going to knock off 1 egg because of how ungodly difficult this was to install in my case.

Worst SSD I've ever owned

Silicon Power Ace A55 2.5" 512GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SU512GBSS3A55S25NE
Silicon Power Ace A55 2.5" 512GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SU512GBSS3A55S25NE

Pros: None over other ssd's I've tried

Cons: Short life span, poor performance

Overall Review: It worked OK for about a half a year but it's reached the point that it's almost useless now. Other ssd's I have installed still say 99% & 100% life left, one of which I've had for at least 5 years. This new one says 76% life left and it goes down 1% every 1 or 2 days. It runs so bad right now that I'm tempted to throw in an old HDD until I get a new SSD. I don't recommend and I won't buy this brand again. It wasn't worth it when I got it on sale so it certainly isn't worth the regular asking price.

It's a bad board

ASUS ROG Crosshair VII Hero AM4 AMD X470 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS ROG Crosshair VII Hero AM4 AMD X470 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: None

Cons: I RMA'd the first board (had to pay $30 shipping too) because the 1st RAM slot didn't work. They sent me back another board in a tiny white box with almost no padding. I used to work at UPS and I know how they handle packages. I just barely built my computer again with the board they sent me and RAM slot 1, 3 and 4 don't work. So I spent over $300 for this board and $1,200 for the other parts. Now I'm stuck with a lot of expensive hardware and no working board again.

Overall Review: I don't want them to send me another board. I want my money back and I'll never buy ASUS again.

Fast, but flawed

Micron 1100 Series 2.5" 2TB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MTFDDAK2T0TBN-1AR1ZABYY
Micron 1100 Series 2.5" 2TB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MTFDDAK2T0TBN-1AR1ZABYY

Pros: It's fast.

Cons: It's insanely expensive and built with cheap plastic. Just plugging in the SATA cable caused the **** thing to snap. I managed to straighten the pins and carefully get it in the SATA cable and it works, but **** it's cheap plastic. I'll never again buy anything from Micron.
