Good solid card
Pros: Plugged it in and it worked flawlessly. I converted about 6 hours of DV videos with no problems. Comes with a 4 pin firewire cord which wasn't listed in the ad. (Would have been a bonus if I hadn't purchased one when I bought the card).
Cons: None
Has some problems
Pros: Small, reasonably priced board used for HTPC system.
Cons: HDMI video ouput does not work. I ended setting it up in my case and got it working with an external VGA monitor with no problems and was hoping drivers might fix the HDMI problem, but not such luck. I was attaching to a TV which only had an HDMI option, so I almost returned it, but didn't want to respend all the setup time, so I bought a DVI to HDMI adapter and that seems to be working fine. (I was able to get sound through the DVI HDMI converter which was my concern with the adapter).
Overall Review: If it weren't for the HDMI problem, it is a nice board.
Only a fair router
Pros: I got it cheap and it is a good basic router. Initial connectivity wasn't too bad to set-up (as a repeater in my case).
Cons: Router has horrible range making it a pretty poor repeater. It probably would work OK for someone in a small apartment, but didn't work in my house (even though a laptop had no problems working in the location I tried to place it).
Overall Review: I was trying to use it as a repeater to connect my home theater to my network, but while other wireless adapters had no problem connecting to my home network. It worked fine when I was 30 ft from the base router, but not in another room through a couple of walls. Probably would be ok for some as long as you are only trying to cover a small area. It also had very limited features in its menu's which made it more difficult to configure because you could hard set the ip address for the repeater mode, so it was hard to find to log in to it.
