Galaxy 77NQH7DV8NKV G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 GC 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card

Pros: -Runs EVERY game I own at the moment on maxed out settings 1080p. I realize that this GPU is a bit overkill for 1080p, but it's very nice to run everything maxed :)
-Literally silent. I can't hear it at all with the CPU fans going; although they probably drown it out.
-Installation was easy for the most part (see other thoughts)
-Ordered Sunday with free shipping, item shipped Monday, arrived Tuesday.
-Came with AC 4, Splintercell Blacklist and Batman Arkham Origins free! :O

Cons: Bear with me because I literally just installed it about an hour ago. This is my only con so far: I noticed a subtle, yet annoying thing occurring....
It appears that the color black blinks back and forth between slightly more blue and slightly more red about every second. I only noticed it because I have a desktop background that is almost solid black.
I'm planning on emailing both Galaxy and nVidia to see how to fix this because while it is barely noticeable, just knowing something is wrong after spending this much money is a real thorn in my side.

Other Thoughts: This isn't really a con, but the card is pretty long, so you need to be aware of this before installing. It fits fine into my midtower Coolermaster Elite 430, but that is only because the hard drive spot at the same level as the first PCIe slot on my MOBO is unoccupied. If you've got a hard drive installed there, you will need to relocate it.
Also, I have to bend the plating a bit where it screws in to the back of the case because the plate was not sliding between the MOBO and the back of the case. No big deal, but I was puzzled at first why it was not just snapping right in.

EVGA 01G-P3-1556-KR GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) FPB 1GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Delivers pretty solid performance on most games I play (SC2, Shogun 2, Amnesia) for under $150! Stutters a bit on Shogun at max settings, and SC2 on Extreme/Ultra during huge battles. Pretty expected given the price range though.

Cons: None really. I am planning on upgrading soon to get better performance for some newer games I'm looking to buy, but honestly you get more than what you pay for with this card.

Other Thoughts: Haven't had any problems with this card. Bought it when I didn't really know anything about the GPU market as a budget card that could handle SC2 for my first build. Now a year later it's a best rated card on NewEgg -- made a good choice. If this is your price range, make the same one ;)
