Overall Good Laptop

Lenovo Laptop Intel Core i3-3110M 4GB Memory 500GB HDD Intel HD Graphics 4000 15.6" Windows 8 G580 (59344049)
Lenovo Laptop Intel Core i3-3110M 4GB Memory 500GB HDD Intel HD Graphics 4000 15.6" Windows 8 G580 (59344049)

Pros: I am very pleased with this laptop. I got it to replace my three-year old HP laptop which was stolen. It has very strong qualities all around. Slightly over 4 hours of battery life even at medium brightness. Wide selection of brightness levels. Strong performance. Can play some modern games at acceptable performance, if you're into that. Laptop and cord are pretty lightweight for their size. Just about everything fathomable pleases me.

Cons: My only complaint so far is the touchpad. I find it almost unusable. It's very sensitive and difficult to control. This might be adjustable in the settings but my brain is too dumb for that. Have a wireless USB mouse ready for use. Lots of bloatware to uninstall but at least while it's installed it doesn't hassle you too much. I've never used a numpad and I think it's impractical on a laptop, but it doesn't bother me much.

Do Not Buy

PowerColor Radeon X1650PRO 512MB GDDR2 AGP 8X Graphics Card X1650PRO 512M AGP
PowerColor Radeon X1650PRO 512MB GDDR2 AGP 8X Graphics Card X1650PRO 512M AGP

Pros: Powerful card. Runs HL2: Episode 2 very well. Omega Drivers ran very well on this card.

Cons: Do not buy! Very unstable. First purchase did not work at all, RMAed and it played games, but would overheat after an hour. Also caused some display corruption. The coloring is just too underpowered (just look at the picture). Get an after market cooler and chances are it will still be defective.

Overall Review: Powercolor has made some good products, but this one was poorly designed.

Good card

Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro 7.1 Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Interface Sound Card
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro 7.1 Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Interface Sound Card

Pros: Good improvement over motherboard sound. It's important to say that the best results I've experienced are in movies and music. Movies play brilliantly, and the seperation of tones and instruments in music is very cool. It also solved a # of compatability issues in games, as well as improveing performance and sound quality. On average (not always) I was able to increase my resolution a whole notch whilst having the same FPS as I did in mobo sound. Worth the price with $50 rebate.

Cons: Simply put, I don't think this card is for normal consumers. Sound quality is better, but if you're just a gamer you don't need this. If you're into movies, music, and maybe audio creation then hell yeah. Otherwise a less expensive hardware based card will suffice.

Overall Review: The free shipping deal was awesome, arrived in 3 days. Newegg has won me as a customer. Overall I think this was worth my money at $80, but definatly more than i need at retail price. Standard X-treme gamer would have sufficed.
