BungBungame (MI100) 10.1

Pros: All the positive reviews are spot on. When this device originally got all its positive reviews the $200 price tag was unmatched in the market place. However since December of last year many devices with similar specs have dropped down to within its price range.

Cons: One of the speakers blew out and so I began to have that sinking feeling in my stomach. I searched for the Newegg page which had since been hidden only to find the phone number of some lighting company in California. Then I sent an email after 2 weeks I received the usual numbscull response, "did you drop it in the bathtub?" etc. Turns out I was dealing with bungbungame in Taiwan. They then sent me a FedEx number to ship it to them. Sorry while I'm at it why don't I just ship my newly listed bicycle on Craigslist to the guy who lives in Nigeria. Maybe not the same situation but anyone who has an expensive piece of electronics isn't going to want to send it abroad never mind the fact that while it makes the round trip you are now left twiddling thumbs with no tablet for the duration.

Other Thoughts: There are name brand tablets for a great price available here on Newegg see the Asus Memo pad as an example. Bungbungame did a great job with this first tablet and if they can get on the ground support up and running they could easily compete with the big boys. However the novelty of this pad being the only device that is fairly high end at a dirt cheap just isn't the case anymore.

On a side note, while I couldn't repair my device I did find a work around that turned into one of the most enjoyable parts of this technology. I discovered the joys of a wireless battery powered portable speaker. I can take it anywhere and the audio from my device comes booming out. I use the 1 on board speaker for Skype. If your interested check out the Creative D100

Factory Recertified Pandigital Novel 7

Pros: I don't own this tablet.

Cons: Beware of this vendor. A while back i bought a webcam, it seemed like a great deal at the time a $75 cam for $15 what a steal. It took three weeks to arrive. After a few days I got suspicious and so went and researched the cam. Come to find out they retail for $20 not such a great deal.

1saleaday seems to crank it's list price up so as customers think they're getting a great deal when actually they are not.

The same tablet is currently listed for $49 (Sold out) on the Walmart website initial retail price $99.

Something seriously fishy with these guys.

eForCity Silicone Skin Case compatible with Apple® iPod nano 7th Generation, Black

5 out of 5 eggs Does what it is designed for 12/19/2012

This review is from: eForCity Silicone Skin Case compatible with Apple® iPod nano 7th Generation, Black

Pros: Silicon shell that wraps up my Ipod nice and safe. I tend to get metal cases for my electronics so this a deviation from the norm.

A nice surprise were the tactile surfaces for the volume control and the main menu button. These make it easy to feel your way around your Ipod while the shell is on.

Cons: I half thought that it might come with a screen protector but at $3 I can't really complain.

Other Thoughts: The added surface area is needed for these Nanos and once this shell is added the device takes on a nice manageable size.
