The Porsche 911 Turbo of Pci cards

CHAINTECH GeForce FX 5200 256MB DDR PCI Graphics Card P-FX20
CHAINTECH GeForce FX 5200 256MB DDR PCI Graphics Card P-FX20

Pros: This is one of the fastest if not the fastest Video cards for the crusty ole Pci slot! 256Mb of memory might be overkill for this tech but it's still nice. The stock cooling isn't noisy and this card overclocks like crazy. Tortured tested this card Oc'd for hours w/ 3DMark05. No hiccups or overheating. It's very perty and blindly shiny but my cases are closed.

Cons: It's Pci, if you had Agp or Pci-E you wouldn't(shouldn't) be reading this review! Obviously this card isn't for hardcore gamer BrokeHardcore gamer is a long Oxymoron.

Overall Review: I bought two of these cards for some crusty Hp a1000y's that I bought some time ago for next to nothing. I can now play Splinter Cell, Call of Duty and Quake 4 on relatively high settings on cheap old pc's now. The garbage stock Intel Extreme onboard could barely run a web browser much less play a descent game.

Ocz continues to earn my buisness!

OCZ GameXStream OCZ600GXSSLI 600 W ATX12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply
OCZ GameXStream OCZ600GXSSLI 600 W ATX12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: 36 max amps, Nice blue Led that matches all my other(non gawdy bright) ThermalTake Blue led fans, 4 12 volt rails and can support Sli or X-Fire. Very clean and good looking wrapped cables, Black baked paint, Ocz's support is Second 2 none unlike horrible support from mega companies like Asus. It's compact and can fit in most any tight or huge Case alike. Awesome Value after rebate or before! Most importantly.....it wasn't DOA and it's quiet.

Cons: All things being relatve none. Uuuuuhh It's made in China but if it wasn't it wouldn't be this cheap. Newegg's language filter is rediculous....lol.

Overall Review: Wattage doesn't mean didly without the proper amperage. Check the Max Amps of any psu before you buy. Many high end PSU even in the 850watt range have a max amperage of 30 whilst this 600 watt beast has 36. If your power any single high end video card you should have @ least 30 amps max which Ocz cheap 500watter does. With many years in the game I wouldn't have the Audacity to say I have *High tech understand*...lol.

Just plain Awesome.

Foxconn A7GM-S AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Foxconn A7GM-S AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Toms of price/peformance before or after ten buck rebate. Integrated Video that doesn't suck...amazing. Good HD playback but needs more for Videophiles(Hybrid graphics with a 3470 will take care of that). Hybrid graphics are awesome IME for some gaming and/or awesome Hd playback but it's not what I'd consider *budget gaming*(get a 3850 @ the least or awesome 4850 for serious gaming). Fantastic overclocking features @ the price point(Has cpu multiplier unlike the Ecs Black edition 780g mobo) and much more. Supports 140watt Phenom but I would HIHGLY reco a 790fx Chipset if your gonna do some serious phenom overclocking(they suck allot of juice). SB700 sounthbridge that fully supports 6 Sata drives unlike the mediocre SB600 used on the 790fx boards. Some of the best instructions I've ever seen for a pro or newb alike in English...thanks! HDMI Baby. Descent looking board if you have a window but not a Supermodel. This thing tweaks and setup like a Highend Asus board for less coin.

Cons: Welcome to USA...made in China. Somone will def. complain that they wanted more cables(I have tons). The speaker connection may require you to extend your cable and/or a wire routing nightmare. Adding a monster Video card will block @ least 2-4 Sata ports but that's more of an inherint problem with a Micro ATX formfactor board then a gripe with Foxconn. 1 Memory dimm might be blocked by a monster Cpu cooler but that's not uncommon even on Atx boards. Some of these apparently shipped with no TIM on the N.Bridge. I highly reco applying a high end TIM like Ocz(worth the trouble) and adding a 40mm fan as I did as the N.Bridge can get nice and warm. Common sense would indicate that you should have Active cooling on a N.Bridge with powerfull Integrated graphics.

Overall Review: This Mobo, Antec EarthWatts 500wpsu, Athlon 5000+ BE @ 3.1ghz w/ Artic Freezer 64, 4gigs Ocz Reaper DDR2 800, Seagate 300gig Sata 1.5. Win Xp Pro. This later combo made for an amazing peforming and cheap HTPC upgrade on a clients old Comparq Persario that cost ALLOT less then buying or upgrading a 754 or 939 board. Custom Turbocharged Ferrari performance for the price of a Honduh.

Awesome performance @ the price.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ - Athlon 64 X2 Brisbane Dual-Core 2.6 GHz Socket AM2 65W Black Edition Processor - ADO5000DSWOF
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ - Athlon 64 X2 Brisbane Dual-Core 2.6 GHz Socket AM2 65W Black Edition Processor - ADO5000DSWOF

Pros: @ the cost of being redundant. Unlocked Multipliers and actually has some serious headroom to increase the frequency(Unlike the 6400+ Be that's also a heater). Low wattage consumption @ stock frequency. Good price 2 performance ratio.

Cons: Doesn't come with the Heatsink/fan for the fools that didn't read the fine print. Who's gonna seriously overclock this cpu on a sock HSF??? For the price I can't complain but it would have been nice to have 1mbx2 L2 cache. @ This price point I would seriously consider the 3.0ghz Windsor chip(if you can deal with the heat and power consumption).

Overall Review: I got this chip with the (FREE) TT Soprano RS case for $95.00 shipped......awesome. Newegg is gouging on these and raised the price to $86.00 and now $99.00. Newegg is gouging on these as the Phenom sales are pathetic with tons of returns. The Price to performance arguement in favor of Amd is dead with the Phenoms but holds true with this BE Chip. The Intel Q6600 costs less and kills the phenom. Buy this and wait to c what happens with AM3 and new Intel. I've got this chp to 3.4ghz 100% stable(Zalman 9700) and it'll go higher with more fsb and tweaks. It's sucking about 180watts @ full load.

Don't Fear The Reaper!!!

OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2RPR800C44GK
OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ2RPR800C44GK

Pros: Awesome looking & working passive memsink design(OCZ's best yet). Practically cold to the touch with a medium flow case after hours of torture testing. 4gigs..Vista 64 wants it....you want it. Fast timings and very oc'able like many OCZ offerings.

Cons: We all hate rebates and still buy gear with em. Ocz contracts Zealot rebate houses. Make sure you visit their support page if you don't get your rebate(they'll take care of you). Lazy People will have to manually set the tight timings and voltage.

Overall Review: Cue Blue Oyster Cult.......... Am2 cpus don't support 1066 and I don't want a Phenom so I got this(I'll buy DDR3 when AM3 comes out). This memory is designed for 2.1v so set that in your bios for 100% stability. These chips run cooler then slower 1.8v memory I've run on AM2 machines.

Bravo OCZ!!!!

OCZ Platinum 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K
OCZ Platinum 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K

Pros: What am I gonna say tha 1000+ people haven't...lolTight Timings for DDR, Killer looking Mirror sinks with clips(read no glued on junk) and the sinks work. This crusty ole mobo autodetected the fast timings with is great as this mobo has no overlocking/memory settings avaliable in the bios.

Cons: Uuuuuhhh DDR is old.....lol. DDR is still overpriced(compared faster DDR2).

Overall Review: If you need DDR memory to upgrade an old system, this is some of the best money can buy. OCZ has awesome products and services IME. They've earned me as a fanboy. The companies that they contract for rebates can be nazis. If you don't get your rebate, make sure you vists OCZ's support page.
