wheee
Pros: well, nice to still be able to get this. Gonna wait til windows 9 to upgrade. it works as intended (by microsoft anyway..lol)
Cons: 1- its windows. sigh. How I wish adobe and other software programs I use would support linux. Make life easier. 2- the 1.300 updates needed to bring it up to speed after install literally took FOREVER. LOL
incomplete , do not buy if you use a keyboard for anything
Pros: it lights up a lot of the keys, sounds all mechanical when typing
Cons: only the letters are lit, for some reason they decided that anything else, like all that other stuff like parenthesis, exclamation points, any and all things other than the letters are not lit. So if you type and this is not for you, the fact the letters are lit are great, the fact the rest are not lit is not. zero stars if i could. Why in the world? Typing is horrible on these keys, but i guess getting used to it is possible...but impossible to type using non letter characters without a bright light since the other characters are not only not lit...they are a very light grey and I guess they wanted to camoflouge them...
Overall Review: no, do not buy this unit. I think they just threw this out for sale because it was lit...but they forgot to light up the half of it making it really the worst keyboard, even in the light, I have ever used.
it worked
Pros: was easy to add to my case and it worked fairly well been running it at our business and I have now bought one for myself. A lot of options for the experienced overclocker and such...but documentation light on learning what it all does..
Cons: 1- the sata cables were half l shaped and half not...cost me a drive when transporting it to the new location as the case has the drive ends pointing to the case side...a slight jostle broke the sata piece off the drive killing it and the cable. Been nicer to have most L shaped on one side. 2- the backplate is not cut properly and cannot be used. It fits perfectly except for the audio. So I had to decide to cut the audio part out or just not use it at all. Really lame. They must have changed the audio spacing or something and never updated the backplate. 3- the two proprietary fans scare me as replacing them will be a super big hassle. Almost feel like I have to buy them from asus immediately, just in case. 4- the front usb 3.0 connection is incredibly loose. Just touching the cable and it pops out. Not sure if it is the case cable or the connector that has the issue. But my second cable I bought does the same thing.
Overall Review: seems okay, lets hope it works for years to come.
Not bad
Pros: It was not too bad to put the motherboard and stuff in it. usb 3.0 front of case, what else can you say.
Cons: As usual, gotta give minus one egg for worst instructions ever. But this is usual for ALL case manufacturers. It is not clear in description, but there is a cable included to connect the USB 3.0 for front of case. Even their support could not properly answer that...so now I have an extra cable I ordered with it lying around for no reason. The side panels are not very solid, so laying it on its side could cause issues with drives/sata connections. Be very careful. I lost my OS drive due to that.
Overall Review: not too bad. Wish the drive bays were facing back to front instead of side to side..other than that, not bad. Wish they had other front end options like a sd card reader and all that.
It was okay
Pros: installed on a fresh computer with no issues. Had no parts issues. Seems fine.
Cons: As usual a ton of junk added. As usual thing you use a lot are hidden (like quicklaunch bar) As usual you are buying something from a company that destroys other companies that could be better at it. As usual I have the old xp disc wasting away now.
Overall Review: You have no other options unless you want over pay and buy a mac/apple. You have no other options as most of the programs you need will not run on linux. If there was another real option, I would not get windows.
okay
Pros: bought 3 - 2gb sticks for 6gb total. Within my range, no problems
Cons: no problems....yet...lol
Overall Review: picking the right models for your motherboard can sometimes alleviate all memory issues. Many reviews here might learn from that.
