SWEET!

Pros: HTPC fried so had to rebuild. In the process I upgraded hdd's in my server. So I took 6 of the seagate 7200rpm 3tb hdds and raid 0'd them to the hero VII. That uses up all the on board sata slots. Used M.2 for os and apps. I bought this and connected 3 bluray burners to them using the win10 drivers alone. Works for my back ups, ripping or burning.
Cons: none.
Overall Review: If you are wondering if it will support bluray burners, the answer is yes and it will rip at full speed even though its a x1.
Do not buy IF....

Pros: This will work out of the box. It does work well with my 4 Seagate 3Tb HDD's. However.....see cons.
Cons: My home server contains 12 HDD's. You can not in any way run more than one card (I attempted to flash bios and disable functions per Highpoints instructions) which failed. You will get "Out of Memory" error. The work around is to Press "End" key every time you start or restart the computer/home server. "End", thats just unaccaptable, and to further that Highpoints "support" was like the "End" key.
Overall Review: If you dont need more than 4 HDD's this card will work as advertised. It is fast with the SATA3 HDD's. You could use the expander, but that drops your SATA3 speed to SATA2. That too is like the "End" key solution. Unacceptable. As I mentioned, I did contact Highpoint.
Unlike the Mediasonic ProRaid H8R2-SU3S2 - These Specs are accurate! Buy this for home/small business back ups.

Pros: It took less than 24 hours to complete raid build on 8 7200rpm seagate 3tb hdds. The same ones in the Mediasonic ProRaid H8R2-SU3S2 which was a piece of garbage (and was rma'd) out of my server worked with no issues at all and the transfer rate over 1gbe was between 113-120 mbs unlike the piece of garbage mentioned which topped out at 27mbs. Set up was easy and again worked as advertised. Twice the cost of junk but it does what they claim it does. I cant speak on the 10gbe but I would have to believe their claims as the others were true.
Cons: Cost. but its better than garbage - Mediasonic ProRaid H8R2-SU3S2. See my full review on it on its product page here at newegg.
Overall Review: suck it up and buy a great quality made nas and skip the hassel of rma'ing garbage, If I havent made myself clear DO NOT BUY THAT PIECE OF GARBAGE Mediasonic ProRaid H8R2-SU3S2 and buy this instead.
SWEET!

Pros: The bomb! great for htpc in auto mode as they can barely be heard but in high data through put or video encoding cranked up to 60% they are loud. Heat is the enemy and this is the answer. I have this hooked up to my silverstone fan controller which is hooked up to my corsair h110 v2 aio. I use the corsair app to create my auto profile while using the htpc for multimedia and a heat profile while ripping, video encoding, and high data throughput.
Cons: On my Thermaltake core9, the included silicone attachments (replacing screws) will not fit through the screw holes. I had to remove the anti vibration pads to use the original fan screws which were barely long enough. I would suggest adding longer screws since you know your fans are a little thicker than most.
Overall Review: If you need one this size its great. I will buy again if I need one.
Awsome!

Cons: none so far. I have used their fans in the past and none have ever failed.
Overall Review: Get them and set up your mb or controller. You will be glad you did.
This is how cases should be designed!

Pros: So easy to do what you want its refreshing. The cons are legitimate, but not a deal breaker.
Cons: None of the side/top panels go on securely without effort due to the short screws. They don't securely hold on the panels and they do vibrate on occasion because they are slightly lose. Thermaltake, I in no way should have had to spend an extra $112.00 to have the standard PWM 4 pin fans! I used Noctua, 3 x NF-A14 iPPC-3000 PWM, 140mm PWM fans and 1 x NOCTUA NF-A20 PWM 200x200x30mm, 4pin, 800rpm attached to a silverstone fan controller which is attached to my corsair h110 v2 cooler. I use the corsair app to auto adjust my fans based on temp or I have a heat profile. With those fans in auto, you have to listen to hear them, in my heat profile at 60% is loud. Those 3 pin dc fans are loud and not good for a htpc. Yes I used it as a htpc/data bu and it looks great with my set up and its unobtrusive as It looks like another sub! Last and a nit pick, but is it possible for you to design one like that, that would house 12 3.5 in hdds? Home sever/workstation? That would be the perfect case for me!
Overall Review: I will probably be purchasing another one in the future. Its a decent size but not bad imo.
