Problems and Grief

Pros: Lots of fan headers, SLI, supposed to support Quad Core. Dual NICs, nice release latches on PCI-E slots (not like the ones where your have to reach UNDER the card to realease.) Stable until...
Cons: ... you load it with Supreme Commander or Prime95. PS2 wierdness, missed clicks, mouse jumps, miss keyboard presses. Persists even when UNDER-clocked and 3/4 cores disabled. High freq static whine when CPU under load as others have reported. Failed fan header.
Overall Review: What is wrong with this industry? I expect a working board the FIRST time. RMAing exactly one time. If Second Board doesn't work, there's going to be a charge-back. Don't waste your time with this board if you are planning on running a Quad Core.
Doesn't fit. Too wide

Pros: Not sure. Didn't get to power it up.
Cons: - Its too wide. Tested insertion against 2 separate cases. - Cooling holes looks smallish.
Overall Review: I considered the dremel but don't want to void warranty on something I haven't tested yet. Its not hard to manufacture a device that fits in 5.25 inch bays. CD/DVD/BR drive manufacturers do this without difficulty. Why can't Icy Dock?
Its pretty, but it has problems

Pros: LCD is pretty, some of the bundled software (Soundgraph Imedian) is nice.
Cons: IR operations are flaky. Angle has to be right (probably indicating a weak IR transmitter on the remote.) Remote arrow button(s) is much too sensitive. Worst of all, if the power is removed from the system board, you can't turn on the system unless you unhook the three pin power control from the LCD/IR module. As long as you plug in the three pin power control AFTER the system has booted, you can turn the system off and on as expected. But every time you remove power from the system, you will have to disassemble you system.
False Advertising

Pros: NewEgg processed the RMA for refund without stocking fee.
Cons: Does not support quad core CPUs regardless of advertising. Very unstable. Makes squealing noises. Second board has exact same behavior.
Overall Review: Based on my experience, I can't recommend this board or any other EVGA board for anyone. EVGA's early /advanced replacement program is nice on paper, but if they can't ship you a working board, what good is it?
