Just a little louder and they'd be perfect

Pros: Build quality on this is top notch. Everything feels solid like it will last forever. I'm positive i will blow the speakers out before anything breaks. the wire has cloth insulation and wasn't stiff out of the box which i loved. Its comfortable to wear, i've had several 6+ hour sessions and besides my ears getting sweaty there was no problems. Sound quality is good through the earphones and the mic works fine and is clear (or so ppl told me).
Cons: I took one egg off for volume. When they are cranked up to the max they aren't loud enough for my taste. I want them to be uncomfortably loud at max and be able to hear them when they are on the desk, on my temples or around my neck but these aren't really loud enough for that. I
Overall Review: I had the problem like others did with the top of my head hurting after wearing them for a while so i simply extended the ear parts down so that the top part wasn't digging into my head and all was well. duhhh. .. I have small children (ages 2 and 4) and i do the majority of my gaming when they are sleeping so headphones is really the way to go for me. Sometimes i want to play a game when i'm home watching them alone. I do have speakers but they aren't are usable for gaming, its a surround system that is setup around the TV and basically everything would sound like its coming from my right, not to mention the kids are usually utilizing the TV and those speakers to watch disney movies off the computer. (disney is the best babysitter BTW) So my idea was to get a pair of these that i could put over my ears when wifey is home so i could block out all the noise the kids make make, and they are great for that. But when im alone watching the kids I wanted to be able to just sit them on my temples or wear them around my neck, and be able to hear the game in the background AND listen for the kids getting into mischief and this is where they fail. no big deal. i shouldn't be gaming when im watching the kids anyway! Also, it would be nice to be able to hear youtube videos or news videos when they are sitting on the desk so that i don't have to wear them but they're really not even close to loud enough for that. I had a pair of headphones years ago that could do all this but i remember they were expensive and from an audio company like bose or pioneer or something. Bottom line; These are a great value. Great sound quality from the speakers and mic and loud enough for most people. Top notch build quality and i'm expecting them to last a really long time. I just wish they were a little bit louder.
Received two different models

Pros: Memory works in dual channel even though I received ram with two different bandwidths, timings and model numbers.
Cons: Would not work with my current ram which is why i bought it.
Overall Review: I use CPU-Z to test all the memory i buy. I bought this to upgrade my system which had Gskill 4GB dual channel kit 2 x F3-10666CL7D-2GBRH 667mhz 7-7-7-21. (asus p7h55m-d evo core i5 661 clarkdale) It should work fine, right? seeing as how its the same model and specs and everything just different sizes... Well it didn't. With all 12 GB installed the system lags horribly, takes forever to post and get to DT and CPU usage goes up to the ceiling causing instability and lag. It does still boot though (sometimes) so i guess that's something.... CPU-Z showed all the ram at CL9 and around 670mhz.. odd... After that I tried just the new ram 8GB alone and it works fine only its at ~690mhz and 9-9-9-24-180-2T (not the 667mhz 7-7-7-21 advertised) and upon further inspection i realized that I the model and specs of one of the 4GB sticks was correct: PC3-10700 (667mhz) 7-7-7-20 Gskill F3-10666CL7-4GBRH While the other stick was: PC3-12800 (800mhz) 9-9-9-24 Gskill F3-12800CL9-4GBXL which is why i get the slower timings and the slightly elevated DRAM freq and I suspect is why i cannot use this with my existing ram. OH WELL. I got faster ram for the price of slower ram BUT at the expense of not being able to use my other 4GB which i wanted to do. Still not sure how it works in dual channel though because i thought the ram had to be the same for that. The worst part is that I'm not sure if I'll be able to RMA this item. Have to crack the case open yet again to see if they are even labeled correctly. I'm hoping the labels show the difference because i'm not sure newegg is going to just take my word that this is wrong or even know what CPU-Z is. Sigh....
left clicks are double clicks

Pros: nice feel, accurate, worked great at first, really loved it while it worked, the ability to lower sensitivity by pressing buttons on the mouse is a huge plus, weights are neat too and its cool looking
Cons: left click button broke down too quickly, single clicks are double and triple clicks, holding left click to drag things around or highlight text is impossible without pressing the button down very hard which i am sure is just doing more damage.. i thought getting an expensive mouse meant high quality buttons but apparently that's not the case here. when you think about it, the left click button is the single most important button and for it to break down like this so quick is simply unacceptable.
Overall Review: long ago i had a nice logitech gaming mouse with two optical sensors in it. that mouse lasted me for like 4 years. i used it so much that i nearly wore through the bottom plastic. buttons never broke despite me occasionally hitting them way too hard out of frustration. the computer broke before the mouse did (cpu fan failed) and i ended up giving up pc gaming and buying a laptop and an xbox and the mouse was lost. so sad... now im back into pc gaming and this new mouse broke way too quickly IMO. im older now and don't rage at games like i did when i was young so this mouse has basically been babied and it still broke. logitech is not what it used to be. i just hope i can find a mouse that will last like my old one did.
all around win

Pros: works, inexpensive, nice to type on, looks great
Cons: I can't think of one.
Overall Review: this KB is great! I was looking at getting an apple keyboard because i like typing on chicklet keys and then i found this one. Best of all it matches my other stuff which is all black and i don't have to install drivers to get it working properly. Very happy with this KB.
Beautiful screen for surround gaming!

Pros: I got these on sale for a great deal so first pro was PRICE!! Thin bezel, really bright vivid colors, crisp picture, no ghosting, no dead pixels, simply beautiful screens, nothing distracting (no led constantly on, etc..) Super thin (not that i really cared about that). I couldn't ask for anything more. This is really EVERYTHING you can ask for in a monitor!
Cons: These are all very minor complaints and i didn't take off any eggs for them because they aren't really issues with the screen but with other parts of the monitors, but i could see how they would be an issue for some people so i'll post them. The stand is a bit wobbly and it is a bit of a pain to get all three of them lined up perfectly. This is more of a con of my OCD but i find myself fiddling with the monitors a lot and in doing so i hit the touch buttons on the bottom edge which brings me to the next 'con' ... The buttons are a bit annoying because they are touch sensitive buttons that are on the bottom edge of the monitor and its very easy to touch them by mistake and its not so easy to use them for navigating the on-screen menu. Not a big deal, I'm already used to them, but at first it was pretty annoying. They didn't come with any DVI cables, only VGA, so that stinks. I knew this going into it thanks to other reviews i read so i just ordered the cables i would need along with them. Like i said before, i got these on sale so it didn't matter paying an extra $20 for a couple DVI cables. if i had been paying full price of $230 and didn't know beforehand, i would have been pretty friggin' upset and would be taking off eggs for that. Last 'con' is not a con for me, but i could see how it could be a con for some, so i'll write about it. The DVI, vga and power cables plug into the back of the monitor at a right angle so if you wanted to mount this on to a wall you would need to leave a large gap.
Overall Review: I bought these when they had them for $40 off plus a code for another $60 off so i got them for $130 each. AMAZING DEAL! THANKS NEWEGG!! I love you guys. At first i thought one was broken but i just swapped two of them and the one i thought was broken was working fine and the one that was working fine was now acting up in exactly the same way the other one was so obviously a problem with my setup and not a problem with the monitor. The monitor that is connected to the display port on my gfx card sometimes will go on standby when i start up or quit a game and i have to touch the input button to bring it back on. Strange problem but not the fault of the monitor itself (i don't think) because any of them will do it when connected to that port. Gaming on three of these is simply amazing. my bezel corrected resolution is 5948 x 1080. Thin bezels is a MAJOR plus for multiscreen gaming. Obviously, nothing is ever perfect and all of the cons are really minor gripes because none of them have to do with the screen itself. I didn't buy these monitors for the stands, cables, connectors or buttons; i bought them for the beautiful screens and the thin bezels. At least that's how i look at it.
