Thermaltake View 31
Pros: Plenty of space; Plenty of room for fans; Tempered glass; Wiring is a breeze; Deep and WIDE
Cons: Set up of HDD cage
Overall Review: Absolutely the best case I’ve ever had the pleasure to work in. Picked it up for $89.99 on Black Friday and it’s a STEAL. Plenty of cut-outs and room behind the mobo tray to hide wiring. The options for fans are incredible. I’ve got two 200mm on the top, the two 140mm LED fans it came with on the front and an AIO cooler on the back exhaust sucking air in. There was even room for a 140mm fan on the bottom between my PSU and the HDD cage to blow cool, fresh air on to my video card (RAELLY liked that touch). All intakes are filtered. My HHD and SSD are running 22c-35c depending on ambient temps and usage. CPU temps are irrelevant to the cooling capacity of the case 'cause I'm running an AIO water cooler drawing air from outside the case. There’s only two cons as I see it and both minor. First, I’m not so hot on the glass back. I mean I’m trying to hide stuff back there. Second, I’m not a big fan of HDD cages set perpendicular to the air flow from the front fan, kind impedes airflow more than necessary. Neither cons bad enough to deduct an egg. There is one more thing that I don’t necessarily see as a con but would’ve liked to see. Would’ve been nice to be able to mount a HDD on the base the removable HDD cage is attached to. That, coupled with the ability to mount an SSD behind the mobo tray would have allowed a cleaner, less restricted front air intake. Also, be aware this is a WIDE case and it is HEAVY. No problem getting PSU leads to reach, as it’s not all that long/tall. I liked it but some may be taken aback.
Ok but Cable and Plug is Flimsy
Pros: Good sound, mic works well
Cons: The cord and USB plug is sort of flimsy. My kids have managed to almost separated the USB plug from the rubber boot. It still works and my kids may be a little rough.
Overall Review: I've owned ALOT worse. Many headphone/microphone combos I've owed were a lot flimsier with really thin cords
Compact, solid PSU
Pros: Compact, flat/ribbon cables, universal plug-ins at PSU, price
Cons: Pig-tailed PCI-E
Overall Review: If weight is any indicator of quality (and it is to a point), this thing is built like a tank. Not using the ECO mode and it's still whisper quite. I've got it running a Rzyen 5600 and an RX 6750 XT. Love the flat cables. Wish they wouldn't pig-tail the PCI-E cables but all companies do that so no reason to take an egg off. Know you're supposed to be able to run both plugs on a GPU on a single cable but it's a pain to get them plugged in like that so I just went with a KITCOM cable extension pack. Would buy this PSU all over again and recommend it to anyone else.
Solid, reasonably priced & nice looking
Pros: Well made, looks beautiful, priced right
Cons: None
Overall Review: Had none of the problems some other users reported with wires pulling out of plugs, well made product. I have it hooked up to an RX 6750 XT and a Ryzen 5600 on a B450 mobo. First time using cable extensions. I've got a PSU with flat/ribbon cables but those pig-tailed PCI-E cables look like d00-d00. Will be using cable extensions from here on out on all my builds and KITCOM will be my go-to, would highly recommend
Nice Budget CPU
Pros: Cheap, Easy to cool, games well
Cons: Doesn't make me a bacon sammich
Overall Review: Got this paired with an RX 6750 XT and it seems well matched with no bottleneck. Went with a Vetroo V5 to cool it and it keeps it running 4C above ambient idle in a LanCool 216 (ambient 23C/CPU 27C). Hit 52C after 2 hours of straight gaming. You got a mid-range GPU or lower, this is your CPU.
Great Budget Cooler
Pros: Price, relatively light, easy installation (see comments below), better than stock cooler
Cons: Fan can be a little louder than others, haven't been able to get ARGB working yet
Overall Review: Got this cooling a Ryzen 5600 (non x) installed in a LanCool 216 case. I used some Arctic MX4 instead of the paste it came with and it's keeping the CPU idling at 4C above ambient (23C ambient/27C CPU) with the fan set at 60% which is inaudible with my case sitting on the floor under my desk....gets LOUD at 100%. Temps got up to 52C after 2 hours of gaming at 60% fan speed. Install was super easy compared to stock HSF, no pressure required, it just sits on top of the backplate mounting screws if you have the right tools. As others have mentioned, a long screw driver makes it a piece of cake. Would buy again and recommend it to anyone
6 foot 3.5mm audio extension cables
Product was as described and is working well. Shipping was prompt. Would have no problem doing business with this vendor again
