Great case!!!!!!

NZXT Phantom PHAN-002OR Newegg Exclusive Black Finish w/Orange Trim Steel / Plastic Enthusiast ATX Full Tower Computer Case
NZXT Phantom PHAN-002OR Newegg Exclusive Black Finish w/Orange Trim Steel / Plastic Enthusiast ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Innovative, ergonomic, durable, stylish......the list goes on and on. From locking drive bay doors, to even the quick release screws for easy access inside the case. This spacious case has a lot to be desired. The magnetic optical drive door is a nice touch. Built in fan filters and shear number of fan support is amazing. You can get a listing of what fans come with it on Newegg.com or Nzxt.com but i chose to buy the additional LED fans from NZXT. The layout of the fans allows great push pull configuration. I am considering not even throwing in liquid cooling. The case comes with fans already setup and tucked away for cable management. The Gigabyte motherboard i am buying allows me to hide the cables so they are almost invisible. For those who are looking for some flashy color in their gaming world and tired of the typical reds and blues. The orange is a refreshing change of pace. I had ZERO complications fitting anything into this rig. I used NZXT parts for the fans, battery, and additional cooling (which i always recommend just to save you trouble) Even with my SLI layout it is still very spacious for good airflow. What pictures do not show you is that the bottom of the case is also grated for additional airflow. As long as your not some smuck who leaves their rig on the carpet this will help well. I have owned a few gaming cases but nothing this clean and user friendly. The front, sides, and top come off easy. The top specially for that easy access to fan control. Beautiful case all in all and would recommend this to anyone. Something else a lot of reviews leave out is how easy it to to maneuver or handle the rig while working on it. Since literally all the surfaces come off it is easy to lift and hold onto the chase while working on cable management. I head some people complain about the side panel fans taking to much space around SSD. There is a slot on the underside of the SSD mounts to run your cable through. That guy was running his cable management around the front side facing the panel.......why would you do that and have it spanning over and through the rig. HIDE ALL THE CORDS. There are enough slows on the back panel to do this. Even if you use several drives.

Cons: There was a small ding on the back corner that made the left side panel stick tight to the tower. I had to bend it back in place on arrival. Nothing that would make me return it for a new one......Still, i dream of the day i get a flawless tower in the mail without something.

Overall Review: Something i didn't mention in my review was how quiet this rig runs at full speed with the fan settings. I decided not to do liquid cooling do to the durability of it all and noise factor. This case is not specially insulated and still runs very smooth

40 days and dead

Seagate Desktop HDD ST1000DM003 1TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Its a HD.

Cons: Had this for a little more than 30 days already making clicking sounds, not booting, and crashing. Bois not reading I switched HD and other drives working so not an OS or RAM issue. Tried recovery and reinstalling OS. This baby is just a paper weight.

Overall Review: Happy it has a two year warranty but tired of RMA and sending for replacements. Why have I had so many issues with new parts from Newegg.com. My MOBO had a bad 8 pin connector and wouldn't post. Bad experience all around but customer service has been great. I guess I am just feeling discouraged with my shopping lately.

Good Kindof

XPG V2 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) Desktop Memory Model AX3U2400W8G11-DGV

Pros: Worked great on my rig and never used overclocking with my 5th gen I7.

Cons: One of the sticks went out after 6 months and now the second one died. Need to see about warranty replacement. I liked these because they matched the color of my rig and other components just wish they lasted longer than 6 months.

Overall Review: Spent $160 on these and would expect them to last longer. Need help on this one.

3rd TIMES THE CHARM!!!!!

ASRock ASRock Fatal1ty Gaming Fatal1ty Z97X Killer LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: *****UPDATE***** I got my third board in and took about 30 minutes to setup my build and it posted BIOS no issue at all. Had one Boots very fast!. The Killer LAN is great tool and has greatly sped up network performance with ease. Bios settings quick and easy to OC your system and even can default back to the UEFI if you over clock the performance to high or if there is an issue. I placed a nice 4770k i7 in this and it hums. Comes with some great SATA adapters that are bent to a 90 degree angle on one side and slid into my drives perfect. (this helped with cable management, I MUST BUY MORE). 5-6 fan headers on board so If you dont have a fan controller built into your case you have plenty of options.

Cons: I had to take a star off because it did not read my ram correctly and severely under clocked my Adata 2400 8x2 down to 1333. Easy fix but also had issues with it booting with single mode instead of duel channel. (yes I checked that they were in the correct DIMM SLOTS) Also a lot of bloatware in the bios. SERIOUSLY GOOGLE TOOLBAR LAWLERSKATES!!!!!!. Man keep the BIOS clean my friends. Other than that great board

Pretty upgrade

ZOTAC AMP! SUPERCLOCKED ZT-70402-10P G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: I built a fantastic Black and Orange rig. Using a NZXT phantom case black and orange and bought other fantastic orange components to go with it. Zotac was the only ones making some great looking cards with high performance you would expect from other brands like Gigabyte. If you never have used them and turned off by the name you should get over your fear. The card runs great. Fans super quiet and plenty of goodies with the drivers. this particular rig i was upgrading from had an old 210 in there :). Honestly night and day difference. I have some 4g cards in other PC i own and this one stands out to be one of my favorites even though its only a 760. While my windforce is pretty .......its not orange. I am already in the mix or SLI another one into this system. They make a great 4g model if you want something higher.

Cons: none

Overall Review: Some of these other card developers could take a queue from Zotac, For those of us who built our own custom gaming machines of glory, some of us want some color in our lives. Green and blue; even red have been done to death. I wanted something fierce that stood out. Orange was fantastic and i didnt have to compromise performance just because i wanted color. Ill leave that to the boys that still use AMD products...........OH NO HE DIDNT!!!!!

Is it on?

NZXT Air Flow Series RF-FZ140-O1 140mm Orange LED Case Fan
NZXT Air Flow Series RF-FZ140-O1 140mm Orange LED Case Fan

Pros: My Phantom case (which is an amazing full tower) fit this so snug in the front facing fan. the cable was very long and gave me plenty of room to not only hide it on the case but tie it out of the way later when i did some cord management. I swear i dont even hear it on. I think the loudest fan on my whole rig is my Radiator (Zulman). The clear LED fan gives it this awesome orange swirl glow effect. Looks great, runs silent.....cant ask for much more than that. Make sure if you buy this that it will match up with the holes on your rig. A buddy bought same one and it sockets did not match up perfectly. Only got 3-4 screws in even before tightening them down. I think that some cases that claim to fit a 140mm still wouldnt fit this fan. I bought it because i got a great NZXT case and might as well make it easy on yourself and buy more of that brands parts. I also bought the NZXT 850w PCU which is fantastic fit in the case......DUH same brand. I had to fight against my urge to buy corsair on this one but the NZXT products are great and look fantastic. So if you bought one of their cases and want some extra flair......Do yourself proper and stay with the same brand and save yourself the headache. I will post my rig on youtube. My orange delish!

Cons: Seriously none.
