Good Drive...
Pros: Good Drives for a Good price. I have two in a raid and getting 150-200 mbs transfer rate, depending on the source/target drive. Everyone who moans about windows not recognizing drives larger than 2TB is not doing there homework. Passed all Smart credentials.
Cons: Time will tell, but 3 months in they are doing great. Setup may be confusing for some who just want to pop the drives in and go (or put them in an older external drive cage with a controller that won't recognize them past a certain size)
Overall Review: I have a superfast 6TB raid for less than $XXX when I got these on sale. I've got a 3 TB seagate automated backup for my important data so I've got the best of both worlds. A few years back, My big brand Name drive crapped out because of a bug in their firmware and another big brand name didn't last a year before making that lovely ticking sound, so the idea that mainstream brands are safer is a myth.
Buyer Beware....
Pros: Decent monitor for the price if you have the luck of the draw and get one without dead pixels...
Cons: Benq have one of the worst dead pixel policies in the business (iso class 3 dead pixel policy) meaning you can have over 100 dead pixels and they won't replace it. Furthermore, there is absolutely zero knowledge of this in their documentation or warranty information making for an overall shady business practice.
Overall Review: Bright green dots in the dead center of my screen manage to take the enjoyment out of almost any application this monitor may have been used for. Although the manual assures me not to worry and nothing is wrong. Like buying a new car with a scratch down the hood or bedsheets with stains on them
Rock Solid Card
Pros: Super Fast, Reference for Easy Watercooling, 100% Stable after Sept Driver update.
Cons: Not quite a Titan.
Overall Review: Don't let a bad review from a bum card deter you from buying this..This card rocks. Runs games like RAGE flawlessly. It is a reference card that I immediately installed an XSPC waterblock (it never goes over 40 degrers celsius) and it has performed flawlessly once they sorted out the initial driver issues. Running Cuda video encoding is almost realtime. Kinda wished I had got a Titan though for better computing power.
