Excellent Economy Build

Rosewill - Black, Ultra High Gloss Finished Micro ATX Computer Case with 400W ATX 2.2 12V Power Supply - R363-M-BK
Rosewill - Black, Ultra High Gloss Finished Micro ATX Computer Case with 400W ATX 2.2 12V Power Supply - R363-M-BK

Pros: You can't go wrong if you want to keep the cost down. The PSU is whisper quiet. I found this out after tracing a noise issue to the GPU by unplugging all the other fans. The case fan is a bit noticeable, I'm going to hopefully replace it with a quieter one. You can't expect to build top of the line quality with a case that includes 400 watt PSU and case fan at this price. It's a super deal with satisfactory quality in all regards.

Cons: In the context mentioned above, none. There has been a problem, not just with this case but others, where the hard drive mount screws seems to be the wrong size. I don't know who's at fault but I doubt Rosewill makes the screws, they should be supplied by the drive manufacturers. I'm surprised the experienced system builders haven't pressed for this.

Overall Review: Some sound deadening to large metal areas would be an improvement.

Very Disappointed

SILVERSTONE Sugo Series SG05BB-450 ALL Black Plastic / SECC Mini-ITX Desktop Computer Case with SFX 450W 80+ Bronze Certified / Single +12V rail Power Supply
SILVERSTONE Sugo Series SG05BB-450 ALL Black Plastic / SECC Mini-ITX Desktop Computer Case with SFX 450W 80+ Bronze Certified / Single +12V rail Power Supply

Pros: Looks good, that's where I stopped. Sure the format is attraction, not much to compete with it. I'm sure everything else will be appreciable as others have mentioned.

Cons: In spite of all the complaints about the cover I bought this. They've been making this case for quite some time, and still the case cover is junk. It was popping like crazy just taking it out of the box. For the price that's unacceptable. This thing is going to be popping every time through heating and cooling. I'm thinking of how I'm going to reinforce the areas the buckle so easily. Consider it a mod job, not a ready to build.

Overall Review: Enough has been said and suggested, they aren't listening or don't care, or maybe both.

Newegg Please Relist This!!!

Pros: As others have said, this is a great little case. The case construction quality is excellent, and the venting well thought out. My build is with Zotac H55ITX-A-E, Intel i3-550, a GT220 GPU, 500GB HD and Slim Slot Load DVD drive. The PSU was too small (and a bit noisy) so I upgraded it to a 275 watt "APEX SL-275TFX 275W TFX12V Power Supply" found here at Newegg. The APEX PSU fit perfectly even though slightly different size. The case fan was no good, replaced it and added a second one, which there is ready to install venting on the bottom. I used SilenX fans. We use it for computing, it sits within a 18" of the keyboard and monitor, and it's super quiet with the upgrades. As noted, the extras are cheap, suitable for children. I would rather they invest the cost in improved fans and PSU. I want to build a HTPC with this case with the same specs and upgrades, that's how good it turned out.

Cons: None, you won't find a better case at this size and proportions at this price range, or for even more bucks.

Overall Review: I have built a few systems with economy cases and never found a complete off the shelf solution. You always have to upgrade something. This one is ideal on that basis.

ZOTAC GeForce GT 220 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Graphics Card ZT-20201-10L

Pros: As before mentioned, performance is good.

Cons: After doing some testing to pin point an electronic noise that started in May and is now unbearable it has been identified as coming from this GPU. Zotac just yesterday conceded to my rebate request, but now it'll be an RMA instead.

Unbearable Noise

ZOTAC GeForce GT 220 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Graphics Card ZT-20201-10L
ZOTAC GeForce GT 220 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Graphics Card ZT-20201-10L

Pros: Performance is great.

Cons: It's unbelievable how much noise comes from the tiny fan on it.

Overall Review: If you're buying on a rebate promotion read the fine print, they will renege on the slightest detail, if not that, you will be waiting up to 8 months before you get it. I bought a couple Zotac products because of their apparent lifetime warranty. I won't buy from them again. They get one egg because customer relations are most important to me, where they fail miserably, making petty excuses to renege on a measly $15.
