Quiet Cooling
Pros: Board temps dropped 7 degrees after putting it next to my passively cooled Gigabyte video card. At 2/3 speed, it is essentially silent can't be heard above my PSU fan.
Cons: It's a bit thick. I would not put a TV tuner card behind it due to lack of airflow. The wire is also kinda short.
Overall Review: Would recommend to anyone who wants easy cooling and doesn't want to mount a case fan.
You get what you pay for
Pros: It's cheap, and has decent range
Cons: It does not pick up voice very well. I have to practically shout to have a conversation. The ear piece is also uncomfortable. I can't wear it for more than a half hour without feeling pain.
Overall Review: Sorry Newegg, this one is a fail.
Slick but not very useful
Pros: Beautiful design, fast speed. Inexpensive option if all you do is browse the web.
Cons: Unfortunately, the lack of Microsoft Office and Skype compatibility makes the Chromebook not much different than a netbook. Google Docs is decent for basic functions, but it does not currently work well for work files in Office format. Google Hangout is a sorry excuse for a chat client. Frequent drops, echos, and poor quality calls means you will never want to depend on it to communicate with friends and family.
Stops working if horizontal
Pros: It's a standard pen that clicks, writes, with a comfortable silicone casing on the body.
Cons: If you do not keep it vertical, it will stop working. You can get it started with lot's of shaking and scribbling, but why bother!
Works but loud
Pros: Nice light, pumps a good amount of air
Cons: Loud. On the lowest setting, it's still very noticible. Not ideal for my HTPC or any environment where you need quiet.
Overall Review: I'm going back to the Dynatron BT-SB80SBK as soon as this one dies. Even though the Dynatron is bulky and only lasts 9 months, it will work in near silence up to 1/3 throughput.
Decent but short lived
Pros: Pumps a lot of air.
Cons: At full speed, it starts to sounds like a hair dryer. You will only get 1/3 of the potential if you want a quiet machine.
Overall Review: One year into it's life, it starts to rattle at startup and takes 2 minutes to stop.
