This review is from: Mee audio - M6 Stylish Sound-Isolating Sports Premium Headphones - 2 Pack
Pros: -Comfortable - can wear for long periods without pain
-6 Different ear tips for custom fit
-Plenty of bass when ear tips properly installed into ear canals
-Highs are nice and clear
-Sit well in ears once installed correctly
-Memory Wire helps hold them in place
Cons: -Mids sound a little muddy
-Difficult to get them seated correctly - takes a couple of minutes
-Bass can be very boomy - needed to use EQ to reduce bass and low mids
-Highs can be a bit shrill
Other Thoughts: On sale these are a real bargain that are highly valued as a good budget IEM by the headphone community (headfi.org). Get a pair and you'll see why. They are not high-end ear-canal phones, but sound pretty good, and won't be the end of the world if you lose them.
Comments from others about no bass etc are clearly because they user has not installed the ear tips into their ear canals correctly. They should fit snug like earplugs, which helps both block outside noise and produce good bass.
I've had a lot of trouble getting a good fit out of the stock ear pieces, even with the 6 different tips. I found the large triple flanges work best, but they can become squished in my ear, blocking sound or making the bass even more boomy. Be careful, take your time, and consider aftermarket tips.
