Great display
Pros: -Cheap respectively -Crisp 4K display -Vibrant Colors
Cons: -TN Panel
Overall Review: After reading the previous reviews, I've decided to throw my review out there. I've owned 2 of these panels for 3/4's of a year now, and they have been nothing but great. The viewing angles are normal to that of TN panels. The LED Backlight bleed through is minimal (atleast on my 2 displays), and I know this effect changes from display to display. Neither panels came with a broken stand, dead pixels, or any other defective functions that would warrant a return. The buttons have never had a 'ghost miss-click' and work well. The only *bad* thing about this monitor that I can say is, it isn't equipped with 'vsync' or 'free-sync', and its default display mode isn't DP1.2. You have to go through the menu to and set up the 60Hz 4k picture.
4 Units DoA
Pros: Looks sharp
Cons: Originally bought an AVR 2650. After noticing the unit was getting extremely hot, I looked inside the unit and saw that the fan that was mounted right on the heat sink wasn't working..... So Harman/Kardon replaced it with a 2700, since the 2650 was an obsolete unit. Couldn't get any audio through that unit and once again, both cooling fans didn't work. They replaced the unit 3 more times.... and ALL of the units were Dead on Arrival. Couldn't get audio through any of them AND none of the fans worked. I've lost all faith I've had in Harman/Kardon as being a quality unit.
Overall Review: I can't really put into words how disappointed I am in Harman/Kardon
Meh case
Pros: -Mostly purchased due to the orientation of the Motherboard, resulting in a vertical GPU position. -Lots of room
Cons: -Terrible for air flow resulting in high temperatures. -Won't actually fit all 360mm AIO's.... Atleast my DeepCool LT720 doesn't fit in their side brackets.
Overall Review: Would only recommend this case to users who don't have high end components dissipating a lot of heat... Unless you're looking to your own custom loop, to which there is a ton of room for that.
Great Powerful Subwoofer
Pros: -Crisp -Deep -Loud It is excellent for music and games. I don't have much experience with testing audio equipment, so I didn't do many technical tests. However, I did take a few sound level readings with a calibrated sound level meter I use at work sometimes. I was able to get a 118 dB reading, which is LOUD.
Cons: Annoying hum, even when the unit was off.
Overall Review: My immediate fix for the hum was to turn the volume all the way down when not in use. A few weeks later, after talking about a similar issue at work, I came to the realization that the hum was coming from a ground loop between my sub woofer and my other electronics in the same vicinity. I replaced the provided power cord with one that had the ground pin removed, and the hum disappeared. Been working amazingly since!
Terrible Item
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Cheap
Overall Review: The firewire side of this adapter is completely beat up. The plastic inside of the connector is all rough and looks like it has been chewed on. The 6 metal connection pins are misaligned and crooked. *DO NOT BUY THIS* I would gladly provide a picture of the firewire connector if possible
HarmanKardon has terrible quality
Pros: Looks good. That is about it.
Cons: My first unit I bought the cooling fan on the heatsink did not work, so it would get hot. This unit actually worked though. The next unit they sent to replace it. The PSU and heatsink cooling fans did not work AGAIN. The actual unit didn't work properly either. I was using digital optical input, no output. The NEXT UNIT I got from them after replacing the 2nd unit, DID NOT WORK. Same flippin issue.... Both cooling fans did not work, and once again... the digital optical inputs wouldn't work. I've lost all of my faith in the Harman/Kardon brand. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING OF THEIRS. It will most likely be DOA.
Cheap Products
Sold a firewire adapter that was beat up an unusable. Pins were crooked and beat up.
