Better than Expected

Pros: * Polished web interface * Easy setup * Compact design * Range acceptable for my use (one bedroom in the corner of the house)
Cons: * Wish it came in white
Overall Review: For the price it works very well. I wanted a compact, dual band, wired access point (not just extender). This thing checks all the boxes. I would definitely recommend this.
Good Value for Money

Pros: 12 zones of control for less than money than almost all of the other smart controllers. Updateable (is that a word?) plant database. Different soil choices. Magnetic controller cover. Well I like it.
Cons: App is slow. Written instructions not extensive though they are through the app.
Overall Review: I would recommend this product.
Solid Performance

Pros: -Affordable -Flexible -Very Easy Setup -Stable -Did I say flexible
Cons: -Not the prettiest router/access point/extender -Cannot turn the LED lights off -The icons that identify what the LED lights mean is on the bottom of the router (why???) -Kind of big (seems bigger than it needs to be) -Antennas are not removeable
Overall Review: I bought two of these to help cover my two story home. I have a Sagecom F@st 1704 DSL modem router that did not effectively reach both floors and all corners. So, my idea was to get tow of these and use powerline ethernet adapters to connect them to the modem and use them as access points. They seem to work very well and I am well covered on both floors now. They have been very stable. I have had a little problem with one location but the problem was the powerline adapter getting noise from something else plugged in nearby. The firmware that was loaded on the device as new was not that great. But after an update there are some new bells and whistles including automatic checking of firmware updates. The setup is EXTREMELY easy. You just pick which function you want it to have; router, access point, extender, wifi bridge, or WISP. I have only used these things as access points, but they are working very well, I haven't had to restart them. For the money, hard to beat. Throughput seems good enough and I really don't have any major complaints. I would recommend this router.
Easy Setup

Pros: Easy to setup Does what it is supposed to do.
Cons: Wish it was 5ghz too.
Fast and Reliable

Pros: Worked right out of the box. The "beginner/easy" setting allows ANYONE to setup this router to work. The Form Factor is what EVERY router should be. Antenna locations and ethernet connections really are convenient. On-Off switch for lights Push button connection Have not had to reset one time.
Cons: The firmware that came with the unit was out of date. The new firmware is a big improvement, BUT still needs more refining. The USB port connection for an external drive does not consistently work and the software you install to link to it is wonky/noisy. Cannot turn off the sound.
Overall Review: Wish I could set it up to connect to the hard drive connected to the USB port remotely. Maybe it can be done, but I cannot figure it out.
Well Worth the Price
Didn't really know what I would use the plugs for, but ended up putting them on lamps in the home that come on when I enter a geofence. They won't work for my Keurig because when the power is off at the plug and comes on, you have to push the button to turn it on. Have since bought a couple more. When they're $7 or $8 they're hard to pass up.
Simple Effective Smart Upgrade
The controller is small and relatively easy to install. The sensors were a little tricky based on where you have to install it and how long the wires are but if you're a little handy you can figure something out. The APP is a little wonky and at least on my android phone wants to always be open and active. If you "X" it out it will pop up again a minute later. The fingerprint authorization also has some issues. With the said, the customer support I received was very good. I had some problems getting a "shared" account to work with the auto open feature within a geo fence. Works fine now. Both Alexa and Google Assistant work great.
Could be a Game Changer If...
The app needs some work. Since everything is done through your smart phone or tablet, the importance of a good app interface is paramount. The app is very slow in responding and is not intuitive. Most functions and features are there but they don't always make sense where they are buried in the app. The written paper instructions (and FAQ on the website) are sparse so be prepared to dig for answers. The product itself seems great so far and IF it does what it says it will do then it could be a game changer. I am hoping that it learns and adapts over time as it seems to be watering a little more than I would with my old dumb controller. I have only had it less than a week so it is likely that I need to tweak some settings. Again, having some documentation, even if it's online, would be very helpful.
