ZALMAN CNPS9500A-LED 92mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler
ZALMAN CNPS9500A-LED 92mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler

Pros: I have had this heatsink and fan for two years on an Athlon 64, and it is still going! I love it so much that I just bought a 2nd one for a new computer, and it's working great.

Cons: A little sharp. I wouldn't recommend throwing it at anyone's head...

Overall Review: Mounted great to my mobo and fit easily in my case. Thermaltake Element G VL10001W2Z ASUS M4A785TD-V AMD Phenom II X6 1055T ZALMAN 9500A-LED 92mm G.SKILL Ripjaws 4GB F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ700MXSP 700W SAPPHIRE 100281SR Radeon HD 5870 (Cypress XT)

Pros: Super easy setup! Love the extended unit for the antennae! Love the fact that it will run on Wifi 6e... even though I don't have a 6e router yet, but works just fine on my Wifi 5 router. Has bluetooth ability (just need open USB pins on your MoBo)

Cons: Won't do my day job for me

Overall Review: Was super easy to get working. I've purchased two of these and both worked straight out of the box. One is installed on a PC in a room that has a couple walls between it and my router, and it has no problem within signal strength. The other is on a PC in the same room as my router, and during setup I didn't have the antennae plugged in, but it still had no problem with signal strength. I did have to install the drivers from the mini CD, but this doesn't qualify as a negative for me.

Simply amazing MB!

ASUS ROG Crosshair V Formula-Z AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Gaming Motherboard with 3-Way SLI/CrossFireX Support and UEFI BIOS
ASUS ROG Crosshair V Formula-Z AM3+ AMD 990FX + SB950 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Gaming Motherboard with 3-Way SLI/CrossFireX Support and UEFI BIOS

Pros: This MoBo is loaded with features! It's an overclocker's dream. Aesthetically speaking, it is very pleasing to the eye. The red and black colors of the board, along with the red LED light trims, go well together to make the board look very attractive. Out of the numerous MoBo's I've bought over the years, this one looks the coolest, hands down. I love the on-board Power button. Looks awesome and is also an awesome feature. The on-board Reset button is also very nice and convenient. The fast-boot switch is just plain awesome too. Very useful. The UEFI configuration is very powerful, as I indicated above. There are loads of options for OC'ing, but it defaults everything for you also should you not want to mess with OC'ing. The only thing I had to tweak in the UEFI was my RAM speed (no surprise here though). It defaulted to 1600, so I had to bump it up to 2133 for my gskill ripjaws.

Cons: None right now. This was the easiest MoBo that I've ever installed!

Overall Review: Unless you're a super guru at this thing, read the instruction manual first. I don't do this every day, but I've done it enough in the past, and that along with the excellent instruction manual, made it fairly simple to get this MoBo up and running. Also, wear an anti-static wrist strap and don't forget to attach it to your case! GL!

Easy to hook-up and works fine

Cooler Master Sleeve Bearing 140mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases and Radiators
Cooler Master Sleeve Bearing 140mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases and Radiators

Pros: Piece of cake to install. Came with 4 case mounting screws (silver color). Three-pin prong for easy connecting to MB. Also came with an adapter for the larger and older 4 prong plugs. Works great!

Cons: None...

Overall Review: Must.... buy... more... computer parts!

Sleek and smooth

SAPPHIRE 100281SR Radeon HD 5870 (Cypress XT) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card w/ATI Eyefinity

Pros: It's fast, just like you think it is. The physical design of the card is awesome. My benchmark scores went up a lot. :)

Cons: Very long card

Overall Review: Do your research and make sure it will fit inside your case. I thought I knew the dimensions prior to buying it, but I must have been wrong because the card barely fits. I have maybe half an inch between it and my HDD mount. Keeps it cool!

Thermaltake Element G VL10001W2Z Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: The air flow is excellent. The case itself is aesthetically appealing to the eye. The top i/o panel is very convenient with 4 usb slots and a jack for headphones and mic. The mounting rack for the harddrives can be changed to either mount your harddrives from the side or from the front of the case. There is a metal divider between the PSU and the rest of the case which helps to keep some of the wiring contained to just behind the PSU. The LEDs on the case fans are not overwhelming and annoying like some cases I've seen.

Cons: Couldn't figure out how to slide my HDD's into the mount and stay that way without having to use screws. I tried it initially, but I found the HDD's to be looser than what I wanted, and so I ended up using screws to hold them in place. Also, the LED's are working, but I doubt they'll stay this way. Oh well... who buys cases for their LED's anyway??

Overall Review: The harddrive mount is a bit of a pain to figure out at first, but it is nice being able to change it based upon your needs. Unfortunately the manual contained little information on how to change it, so it took me about 15 minutes of messing around to get it. First - you must remove the two thumbscrews holding it in place. Second - remove the front panel. This really isn't that difficult, but exercise a bit of caution in doing so, as the pins holding it in place are plastic. Third - remove the front fan by pushing on the little clips one at a time. Have someone hold the fan to the side and out of the way for you while you slide the harddrive mount into place from the front of the case. You'll hear the mount click into place once you get it back far enough. I believe that having the mount facing the front of the case will lead to cooler temps on the harddrives; however, it will be more difficult to swap them out of the case due to the fact the I'll have to remove the front again. Meh...
