Pros: super fast read, faster writes than my 7200 rpm seagate.

Cons: Kind of expensive, but thats just due to the technological infancy of ssd

Overall Review: I HATE rebates. Sure, they look good when retailers can show lower prices, but here i am, approximately 50 days after the rebate 'claim approval' and i still havent gotten my visa rebate card in the mail. I mailed my rebate information on 02/21/2010. Ocz received it on 03/06/2010, and approved it 03/09/2010. Its now 4/29/2010 and i'm still waiting....for my $20. Way to dangle that bone ocz! I like my ocz ssd, but given this rebate experience, i do wish i had waited a couple months and went with an intel. Could have gotten an 80g intel for the same price

Overall Review: This drive cost me $239 on 2/10/2010. Now Aug '11, its dead. Same reports as others. Windows crashing, drive no longer detected in bios. I was under the impression that ssd drives once past their write cycle limit were no longer usable. I had no idea one day it would just flat stop working all together. Had i known that i wouldn't have wasted the money on it. I guess thats what we get being the adopters of a new technology. Rma process has been fairly smooth. Minus the fact it cost ME to ship the drive back to OCZ. Thats ridiculous imo. This is day 2 after the drive being delivered to ocz and still no status change. Why is cross-ship not an option? Somehow, in the back of my mind, i knew this drive wasn't going to last. But the real question is; How long will the replacement last?

Pros: quiet, It still works

Cons: Ordered this on 8/31, received newegg package on 9/7. I realized yesterday that i am out of luck on the rebate as i waited too long. (28 days) my $25 rebate expired on 9/15. I had a 7.5 day window to send my info for the rebate. Newegg standard return policy is 30 days.

Overall Review: Never buying another ocz product again. With as many complaints about rebates, i'd think ocz would find another "rebate house" to handle them. I read alot of ocz responses in regards to rebates. I gave them benefit of doubt and ordered anyway. My mistake
