Great Little Player
Pros: * Excellent sound quality (with new earbuds) * Durable * Good radio reception * Very light weight * Handy clip * Decent battery life * Great price * Accepts SDHD cards
Cons: * Screen unreadable in bright sunlight
Overall Review: I have owned this handy little player for about two years after losing an earlier Sansa player. It does everything I need in a take-it-with you player. It is perfect for taking to a workout, pool or tuning out screaming kids on the plane. One tip is to buy a cheap silicone slip case for it and it will last forever (or until battery dies). The second tip is to visit the Rock Box site and you can transform this into a completely customized media box, but I have other devices to do that. And know the reset procedure of holding down the power button for +20 seconds. I owned this one for a couple years before I had to reset it, almost threw it out.
Its really a TF-700 docking station
Pros: It is really a TF-700 docking station
Cons: It is misslabeled and none at Newegg or Asus knows it.
Overall Review: Se previous writeup. After gettin no feedback from Newegg, I contacted ASUS and was sent an RMA, when I called the number with the RMA I got tech support that determined that if it were a TF-201, it would not dock with the T700 tablet and the serial number of the docking station was in fact that of a TF-700 docking station. I post this because it doesn't look like ASUS or Newegg is getting to the bottom of the issue and I wanted to let my fellow customers know what I wasted a few hours finding out...so 1 egg for a neat product and usually great customer service.
Strong
Pros: * Great range with remote antennas * Installation flexibility with remote antennas * Nice throughput for streaming * MIMO * No dropped connections * Great range
Cons: * Firmware update a bit of a pain
Overall Review: Guess I was lucky as I have owned this router for several years and haven't had dropouts or range issues. I purchased it because of the remote antenna setup that allowed me to mount in my media in-wall box in the pantry with the antenna outside neatly. I just updated the firmware to version 2.10 from 2.06 and there isn't an area in my single story 2600 Sq. Ft house that isn't max strength.
Outstanding
Pros: * Display is clear and bright-even outside true 1080P * Battery life is as advertised, great with additional dock * Video performance rocks! * Very thin and compact-but solid * HDMI interface
Cons: * No delete button on the dock/keyboard? * Slow data transfer via cable interface * Slow boot-up
Overall Review: I've had many notebook computers, but this was my second tablet after a budget first 7". My Apple using friends are amazed by the video when I run an MP4 1080P on it like Hobbit. But you have to run high resolution videos use the internal memory with the right video software--use MX, it doesn't lag and skip and will recognize & play DVD VOB files as well. Don't bother to try and download a 16 Gig video file with the cable interface, it will take a couple days, I use the USB interface from a 2 TB movie server through the dock/keyboard or have moved via the MSD card, then to internal memory. Haven't tried wireless yet, will report. Also, haven't tried to run from the MSD card since installing MX, which works way better than the others on this platform. Tip: Put two thicker rubber feet on the back of the keyboard and it won't lift itsself off the stock ones when you use it unfolded and slide on your lap off the seatback tray in the aircraft. Try all the game software and make sure you enable the Tegra and GPU features as there is much difference in performance on this platform--MOBO video player wouldn't even respond to the laptop vertical/horizontal position after installed and was very jerky as was the Goggle video player at high resolution. Just downloaded new firmware and will report back, but this does EVERYTHING I have asked except fast large file transfers---can't have it back. Too bad that several web sites force mobile app display as this baby easily handles the regular sites with ease.
Not a good as I heard
Pros: A lot of features for the money
Cons: HDMI will not process a 1080i video signal
Overall Review: I have sent the receiver back twice in an effort to get the HDMI video fixed. When I got it back the first time, the USB input was also inoperative as well as the HDMI. Audio passes through OK, but just broken video. If you have to send it back then get Adams to send you a shipping label as I paid the first time out of my pocket.
Pretty Good
Pros: * Well made * Nice appearance
Cons: * No storage pockets for accessories
