Corsair Force Series 3 2.5" 240GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CSSD-F240GB3A-BK

Pros: I purchased this for my Friends Rig, and I was presently surprised with the speed of the drive. Boots windows like nothing, load times for my games and apps are super-fast. Even read/write speeds are amazing. You Cant go wrong with this SDD.

Cons: None. except for price

Overall Review: Now my Rig feels Sluggish and old. Its time for me to Upgrade!

HIS Radeon HD 7970 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card H797F3G2M

Pros: When This card works, it runs everything I throw at it Flawlessly. Stays Quiet, runs Skyrim, Mass Effect 3 and plenty of other games without a hitch. never had a problem on my Asus M4a78t-E Phenom II Board.

Cons: I initially Purchased this Card for a buddy's X79 i7 build, but the card had screen Tearing and artifacts that would cause it to continuously crash. The fan speed on auto would stay at 100% because windows read the temp always at 0c. this is when I got the card back and tested it on my AMD machine and it worked fine for 4 months. now recently I purchased a new board asrock z77e-itx socket 1155, all the problems that happened on the x79 are now happening again. ive tried many different versions of Drivers with no prevail. this has been leading me to believe its and issue only on intel boards.

Overall Review: I have managed to stop the screen tearing and artifacts for now. at one point I had the Temperature displaying and the auto fan working correctly. The Temperature Quickly corrected itself and displays 0c again. for the time being I have set the fan manually lower because the fan is ridiculously loud at 100% and I am able to play games with no issues. slightly Switching the Angle that this card sits in the PCI-E slot seems to fix/Cause the issues. I my eventually have to send the card into HIS before my warranty runs out. I've heard that the process is extremely annoying.
