Great Harddrives

Pros: I purchased a total of 8 of these so far, had them for almost a year. They have been running non-stop in a home server. No problems at all. I couldn't be happier.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: No cons at all - these HDs are fantastic, and I will continue to purchase more.
Be careful

Pros: Um.......
Cons: I have purchased five of these.....Only one from newegg. Two I purchased were doa. The other three died within a month. I love western digital, but I have not had good luck with these drives - which made me switch to the other brand (I won't say the name - thats probably breaking a review law or something, but it starts with a Hit...., which I own 10 of those, and they have been running in my server now for about a month now in perfect health).
Overall Review: I cannot give any pros to this hard drive, with the failure rate so high. Maybe I just got a bad batch. If so, why were they let out the door at western digital? Just be careful with this drive - do not put all of your files on only this drive. Make sure you have a backup solution.
Very hard to type

Pros: Its a keyboard and trackpad
Cons: When typing, my wrist always hits the track pad. I had to throw this away - just can't use it. No matter how careful I am, my wrist hits the trackpad and the cursor goes somewhere else. Probably just too small for both the pad and keyboard. Giving it one egg - because I have to. 0 eggs would be more appropriate.
Overall Review: These things are a fad anyway. Just buy a real laptop. Use your phone for android stuff.
Very, Very NOISY!!!!!

Pros: It goes to sleep when not in use. So far, no errors. I transfered files, did a check disk and no problems. (FYI-General HD advice - for anyone buying any hard drive - check for errors first! So many of these large drives ship with errors. Don't just cut and paste, or move....check the disc for errors first, then don't rely on it if it passes. always have a proper backup. I can pretty much promise you that your hard drive will fail after a while.). Back to this drive - those are the pros - the drive hasn't failed and the power savings is a bonus.
Cons: I bought several 2 tb drives from hitachi last year (internal). I think I bought about 7 or 8 total for a home server setup. They were the best drives I have ever used. So, I bought 3 of these without trying any out. I had so much faith in Hitachi from the internal drives, I figured this would just be one of those great internal drives in the case.....NOPE.....this is a different hard drive. I live in a condo, and I am NOT LYING, I CAN HEAR THIS HARD DRIVE ANYWHERE IN THE CONDO IF I AM TRANSFERING FILES. THAT IS HONEST TRUTH. I will not buy anymore of these ever. Even as I type this the only thing I hear is....GRIND, GRIND, GRIND, GRIND.....GRIND, GRIND, GRIND, GRIND....(It pauses after every 7 grinds or so). TORTURE!! Try sleeping with one of these in your room NO SLEEP WITH OWNERSHIP OF ONE OF THESE!
Overall Review: Hitatchi was on such a great role, since their introduction of the wonderful hard drives last year. Now, they spit these out. I cannot believe they are SO LOUD! I am just going to use them as offsite backups, because I PERSONALLY CANNOT STAND THE NOISE. Even though the three hard drives I purchased have not failed, I cannot give this anymore stars than one (and I would give 0 stars..oops eggs...if it was possible.). Way too noisy. Noise == no egg.
Ok case, not the best from Lian Li though

Pros: Its a cute little box. Small to tuck in the corner somewhere. If there was a power supply that is 1/16 the size of a normal power supply, this would be a great case.
Cons: First, the case arrived via UPS in its original box. Which I really don't like - picture this: UPS drops off the case when you are gone.....It looks like a brand new computer sitting outside your house! Now thats an invite for a thief! Ok, back to the review. The case box was pretty banged up. The CD/DVD cover was BROKE. Things were shaking around inside. I just emailed Lian Li and told them of the situation and requested a new cd/dvd cover. If they refuse, its going back to newegg....in its original box. Now to the install. I bought this to serve as a server (home server). I put in a power supply, two HDs and one cd/dvd (leaving the broken part out). It was VERY PAINFUL. There is just NO ROOM! I had to take out the power supply to get to the mainboard. I also had to take out the hard drives (after everything was installed). If this is a "Set it and forget it" board, you will only suffer minor frustration. If you are like me and always swapping/adding/removing parts
Overall Review: (Continuted cons) you will have a headache. Also, the case is very flimsy. NOt solid at all. With all the components taking up so much space, I don't see how any airflow can exist. The powersupply just takes up so much room. That said, now everything is installed and it looks nice. It is very small - exactly what I wanted for a server (with a 8 bay raid box sitting next to it). But if LIan LI does not wish to send me the broken part, I will have a smile on my face when I send the case back to newegg. Oh, and the USB front ports - they are exterior ports. They include interior ports, but then the cables are about 2 feet long. Also the screws are very, very small and they don't give you any extras. I also replaced that silly blue fan in the front - that is so 2008.
0/2 worked for me

Pros: It is white. Looks nice.
Cons: Biggest con is that it drops internet connection/lan connection AT LEAST 4 times daily. It worked fine for the first few days (thus, I'm guessing why there are positive reviews for this paperweight). I keep my router in the basement (where the POP is), so I got lots of exercise running up and down the stairs so many times. Anyway, after a month or so trying to keep it from crashing daily, I gave up. Figured it was a lemon. Newegg sent me a new one. It did the same thing - crashed at least 4 times per day. I just threw it out, and bought another N router (sorry I don't think I can say the name in the review, but think Bell Kin). Now here is the cool part - when this router worked, I would hit 600k on a 1mb line. After replacing it with the other router I hit 1.6mb.
Overall Review: I recommend to anyone who purchases this, save the box - you will probably be sending it back in a couple of weeks.
